Call of Duty titles had initially started as a shooter and soon evolved into a battle royale with various game modes. Recently, they have brought several changes to the post-launch content.
Call of Duty developers Activision has officially announced a reloaded patch for the ongoing Season 5 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. This patch will bring three new weapons, three new operators, new game modes, a new multiplayer map, and DMZ
One of the most significant changes mentioned in the update notes is that all the weapons and upgrades will be transferable from Modern Warfare II to Modern Warfare III. However, the Modern Warfare II skins and camos will only apply to Modern Warfare II weapons.
In the patch notes, the most exciting change that was mentioned was the three new operators. First is the 21 Savage operator pack, including the “Savage Mode” Assault Rifle and “Red Opps” SMG, along with the “Slaughter King” melee tool and “Skrrt Skrrt” UTV Vehicle skin.
The second is the Lara Croft Store bundle Operator. “Ice Axe” will be included as a new melee weapon, “Mythic Defender” will be the unique SMG, and Lara Croft’s signature “Mach-5” dual pistols will be included in the update.
The final operators included will be Mace, an ex-U.S.-Ranger, and Jackal, who serves as reinforcements for the Shadow Company. With Mace, the players will get a “devastating finishing move,” an additional operator slot for DMZ, and Battle Rage “self-revive” when Mace is the active operator.
The three new weapons included are the Lachmann Shroud SMG, 9mm Daemon, and Pickaxe. These new weapons will surely help players defeat their foes on the battlefield.
Vehicular Battle Royale is also returning, which sees every squad assigned to a powerful MRAP vehicle. This means they can re-deploy if a team has access to an MRAP.
The update is scheduled for release on August 30th. The assurance from the developers and the fact that they’re pushing new content into Modern Warfare II is reassuring to the fans who are hyped for the release of Modern Warfare III on November 10th.
