Hackers Have Been Exploiting Call of Duty: Warzone’s New Map Glitch

Veteran players of the beloved FPS Multiplayer Call of Duty: Warzone have suffered enough from the antics of hackers invading the game. These hackers or cheaters always seem to find a new way to exploit some vulnerable bug in game to their advantage.

Just last month, the hackers were reported to have been experimenting with the Roze skin in CoD: Warzone. Now yet another bug has fallen victim in the hands of these masterminds and there’s no stopping them from ruining players’ experience.

A player reported a bug in the new map Verdansk ’84 that made players glitch below the whole zone. This resulted in countless of cheaters and hackers exploiting the glitch and shooting players from below the ground.

The video shared by reddit user JustThat0neGuy clearly shows how the player is being shot from below the ground. Players have also reported that this glitch is apparent in three major areas of the Verdansk ’84 map: Airport, Stadium, and Downtown.

Verdansk ’84 is the newly launched revamped version of the already available Verdansk map. Although most of the map is similar to the earlier one in the game, some buildings have seen major changes. Like the Quarry replaced by Krast Salt Mines and addition of the new area Airport, where the bug seems to be more apparent.

Call of Duty: Warzone has seen its fair share of hackers and cheaters trying to up their skills in the game by cheating. The development team has also finally addressed the hacker situation in an interview with VGC.

Raven Software creative director Amos Hodge addressed that their security team is constantly working on keeping the game hacker free, and will continue to do so. He also shared that the new map is only the beginning of the massive plans set for the future of CoD: Warzone.

Here’s hoping Raven Software will look into this bug as soon as possible and find a better solution to the hacker problem that’s causing quite the unrest in the CoD gaming community.
