Call of Duty Warzone Mobile announces launch day events

As a part of the launch celebrations, developers have announced Day Zero events, giving out special awards on two maps.

Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer mode is making its way to mobile devices, and fans of the franchise are overjoyed. With the release just a few days away, the developers have announced events to ensure a grand launch.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile will launch globally on March 21st, 2024, at 9 AM PT. A LIVE event will start at launch and last 36 hours until March 22^nd at 9 PM PT, streaming live on Twitch, Youtube, and TikTok.

The developers have also announced that Warzone will feature a Day Zero event beginning March 22^nd, just a day after the game’s launch. During the event, players get the chance to earn Event Points.

The points can be earned by completing Event Actions, including opening a supply box, eliminating an enemy player, landing headshots, using a kill streak, completing a contract, and purchasing items from Buy Stations in Battle Royale.

The Special Day Zero Supply Drops will also be dropped in active zones, giving players higher XP gains and loots when compared to the average Supply Drops. The maps in which these events are available are Rebirth Island and Verdansk.

The rewards include the highly coveted Golden Phantom Ghost Skin, the X13 Handgun weapon blueprint, the M4 Assault Rifle weapon blueprint, and the new “Bloody Reaper” Ghost Operator.

One of the most exciting features is that Warzone Mobile allows for a cross-progression system that permits players to use rewards gained in other Call of Duty titles like Modern Warfare 3.

All rewards can be claimed in the Event Shop before April 3^rd at 9 PM PT. The claimed rewards can be used in Warzone Mobile, Warzone, and Modern Warfare 3. With less than 48 hours to go until the release, the reception promises to be warm and grand.
