Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 to be Revealed on September 15th

Activision has planned Call of Duty Next, an event to tell us more about the future of one of the highest-sold game franchises out there. Upcoming projects of Call of Duty are set to be showcased at the event, which was previously known to be held on September 15th. 

While many longtime Call of Duty players are eager to see Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in action, battle royale fans must have their eyes set on Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, the sequel to the immensely popular Warzone BR.  

Activision has officially revealed that Call of Duty Next will take place on Thursday, September 15th at 9:30 AM PT, where it will finally reveal Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 along with its release date. 

After the event is over, fans will be treated to live gameplay sessions hosted by famous streamers and content creators. However, it’s unclear if those sessions will feature all the Call of Duty games at the event or only Modern Warfare 2.

Altogether, there are three games set to feature at the event, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty: Warzone 2, and Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. As leaked earlier, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer beta is kicking off on September 16 for PlayStation gamers with early access, so fans can expect more details about what the beta has in store.

We don’t know much about Warzone 2.0 as of yet. So, we are expecting Activision to announce the release date of the game, as well as reveal some gameplay. It is rumored that the game will arrive in mid-November, so there are just a couple of months between us and Warzone 2.0.

Call of Duty: Warzone is a first-person shooter battle royale that only supports multiplayer mode. It allows for both cross-platform and cross-progression which makes it gameplay remarkably spectacular. Unlike other battle royales, CoD: Warzone can easily house 150 players in a match while this limit is extended to 200 for some limited-time modes.
