Call of Duty 2023 Titled Modern Warfare 3, Details Revealed

After the massive success of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a new Call of Duty game was inevitable. It seems like the next title is arriving sooner than expected. A new leak suggests that the new Call of Duty game will be released in the latter half of 2023.

Insider Gaming’s latest leak suggests that the new Call of Duty game will be titled Modern Warfare 3. Sledgehammer Games, developers behind Call of Duty: Vanguard, will be developing it. Las Almas, the map featured in Modern Warfare 2 will be the new battle-royale map for Modern Warfare 3.

It was previously reported that Call of Duty 2023 would be a “premium DLC” for Modern Warfare 2. However, it seems like Activision has changed their mind and turned the DLC into a full-fledged Call of Duty title with a new campaign, multiplayer, zombies, and a new Warzone 2 map during the title’s first season.

Unlike Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 being developed by Infinity Ward; Sledgehammer Games will be hemming the newest Call of Duty title. Insider Gaming has also reported that Zombies are making a comeback to the series. It is expected to be an expansion of Outbreak, which was the Zombies experience in Black Ops: Cold War.

Regarding the release date, Insider Gaming has reported that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will launch on November 10, with a reveal trailer arriving as soon as August.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is rumoured to be in development for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
