‘By the Grace of the Gods’ S2 Out in Early 2023

By the Grace of the Gods, Ryoma got another chance at life, this time with an overpowered skill set and no hardships.

You’re completely wrong if you thought this was just another isekai where the Gods summon a hero to save them. Instead of following the norm, this features a protagonist who is isekai-d so that he can experience life without difficulties.

Despite having little to no action, the anime became extremely popular, leading to its renewal for another season.

Season 2 of ‘By the Grace of Gods’ will feature Ryoma’s exciting new quests and is slated for a January 2023 release.

As his time with the Jamil family ended, Ryoma embarked on another journey full of surprises in the mines. The anime’s latest trailer gives us an insight into what awaits the hero.

It starts with Elia Jamil’s letter to Ryoma asking him about his latest projects and progress in magic. As Ryoma begins telling Elia about all that he’s encountered, the joy in his voice keeps increasing.

The trailer introduces a new character Miyabi Saionji, a fox-like beastman, to be played by Yuiko Tatsumi. She has previously voiced Shizuku in The Irregular at Magic High School and Haruka Hasebe in Classroom of the Elite.

Moreover, Yuka Yamada will be replacing Kazuyuki Fudeyasu as the series’ head writer. Yuka has also worked on scripts for shows like Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid and Black Butler.

Unlike other isekai plots, this one doesn’t have a big evil antagonist or a central plotline. Rather, the story focuses on Ryoma taming slimes and going on adventures to enhance his skills.
