While walking forlornly, she meets Michelle Wildan, daughter of Count Wildan, a friendly tomboyish girl trying to study magic circle science. Miyabi peeks at them from a distance as Michelle show one of her experiment to Eli.
Miyabi walks out and introduces herself to the two. She gives Eli Ryouma’s message, and Eli befriends her, taking the opportunity Ryouma gave her. Michelle joins in, and the three becomes friends.
Wanting two more members for their practical training team who will also not care about social status, Michelle introduces them to Riela Clifford, daughter of Baron Clifford and an aspiring knight. She agrees to join the team, and everyone likes her.
Miyabi recommends Kanan Schuzer, a commoner and an aspiring craftsman, as their last member. Kanan excitedly agrees to join their group as she has been getting rejected from everywhere else due to her being the user of enchantment magic. Since magic item crafting needs both enchantment and actual magic, she needs people she is compatible with and has been having trouble finding friends.
Eli’s group is complete, and their class starts with their first camping practical training session. The other teams are having trouble, especially noble kids who are way out of their zone, but Eli and others organize their tasks perfectly.
On the second day, one of the group’s tents fell, which they blamed on the other group not helping them to set up the day before. The argument is about to turn into a fight when Eli and others intervene and take charge of the situation, dividing work to help them.
The two groups apologize to each other, and Eli’s group uses their individual talents to help everyone. Everyone’s cooperation bears fruits, and the teachers are impressed by Eli’s group for allowing the children to grow in a short time.
The students begin looking up and getting closer to Eli and the others. Eli has renewed hope about her school life due to her friends and excitedly writes Ryouma a letter about it.
