Will there be Buddy Daddies Season 2? Release, Expected Plot and Updates

The winter season of anime has begun, and there are a lot of good seasonal anime for the fans, but among the hundreds of anime there is always one anime that shines brighter than others. Yes, I am talking about none other than Buddy Daddies.

Buddy daddies follows the story of Kazuki Kurusu, a criminal contractor/coordinator who lives with his best friend, Rei Suwa, a professional assassin who has been raised from childhood to be a contract killer and one day, the two buddies end up caring for Miri Unasaka, a four year old girl whose father is a mafia boss, after Miri accidentally wanders into a firefight in a hotel while looking for her father.

It is a nice and wholesome twist on the serious genre and it has everything for fans from action, to cute moments of father and daughter.

Season 2 Release Date

As of now, only 4 episodes of Buddies, Daddies have been released, and it stands at a 7.74 rating according to My Anime List, which is good for a new anime and increases the chances of it continuing. There is no information about the season, but we are pretty sure that we will see it when the anime ends.

Expected Plot

Buddy Daddies is a fusion anime produced by Aniplex and Nitroplus and animated by P. A. Works. It was revealed at the Aniplex livestream event on October 22, 2022, that the series would be an original work with no source material to support the story’s advancement.

As of now, neither the anime’s producers nor the production studio have hinted at any manga or light book adaptations. However, as the story unfolds, the producers of the series will ultimately answer inquiries.

Kazuki and Rei are two roommates who are also assassins. While Kazuki has an extrovert personality and loves gambling and women, Rei speaks less and enjoys video games. One day, they end up taking care of Miri, a 4-year-old girl who is the daughter of one of their targets, a mafia leader.
