Nitroplus and Aniplex’s original assassin-themed anime “Buddy Daddies” was already announced for January. The anime has just released a thirty-second video showcasing one of its main characters and also the exact release date for the series.
On Saturday, The official website for the anime released its first out of four character trailers. The video focuses on Kazuki Karusu, one of the protagonists of the series, who is into gambling and women but does not want to fall in love.
The jazzy background music sets the mood perfectly for an assassin action-comedy series. In the end, the exact release date is also mentioned. Buddy Daddies will premiere on January 6, 2023.
Not much of the cast has been revealed. However, the three main characters were introduced earlier with their voice artists. Here are a few more details about them:

The video has disclosed most of the staff behind the series. Studio P.A. Works will be the primary animation studio, with Yoshiyuki Asai as the director. Vio Shimokura and Yuuko Kakihara will compose the series.
Katsumi Enami is credited for the original character designs, which will be adapted for the anime by Souichirou Sako. The music for the series will be composed by Katsutoshi Kitagawa of Round Table.
From the looks of it, Buddy Daddies might make up for Spy x Family, another thriller-comedy series that is only a couple of episodes away from the finale.
