Buddy Daddies Episode 3: Release Date, Speculation, Discussion

Kazuki and Rei struggle with taking care of Miri, with their dangerous job, in episode 2 of Buddy daddies, titled “The Kiss of Death”. After unknowingly killing their dad, Kazuki has brought Miri to their home and both the men have trouble keeping up with the energy of the 4-year-old.

Kazuki convinces Kyutaro to research their past target to gain more information about Miri’s mother, without revealing their situation.

Kazuki and Rei take Miri to one of their jobs since they don’t have any other choice. They are eventually forced to retreat after Miri screws up their plan.  Kyutaro sends another mysterious assassin named Ogino to finish the job.

Episode 3 Speculation

Kazuki will receive information on Miri in the next episode. Though, it’s a high possibility that the information will either be incomplete or they will be unable to locate the mother.

Although there is always the possibility that her mother abandoned her because of her job, there is another possibility of her being in some danger that forced her to send her daughter away since Miri seemed to like her mother.

Ogino’s entry is mysterious, and the next episode may also reveal the reason behind Kyutaro’s apprehension toward him. Judging by the way he killed the boss and his men, he seems like an interesting character. The series is going strong, and the next episode is highly awaited

No, episode 3 of Buddy Daddies is not on a break this week. No delay has been announced so far, and the episode will be released on the above-stated date as per schedule.

Episode 2 Recap

After taking Miri home, Kazuki is struggling with taking care of her. Kazuki cooks breakfast while he gives Miri to Rei to play with her. While eating breakfast, Kazuki and Rei read the letter that was with Miri and realize that it is written by the mistress of their previous target.

Since he is now dead, they decide the best thing is to send her back to her mom. However, Miri is unable to describe where she and her mother lived due to her young age.

Desperate, they leave Miri in the apartment and go to Kyutaro for answers, who is angry about what happened last time and tells them to be stealthier on their job. Kazuki asks him to research any potential children their earlier target may have had without revealing anything about Miri. Kyutaro agrees, and they leave with their next mission.

Meanwhile, Kyutaro is visited by another mysterious assassin named Ogino Ryo, which Kyutaro isn’t too thrilled about. Kazuki and Rei reach back home and see everything in disarray. They are alerted but realize it was all done by Miri.

They discuss their next mission over dinner. Their target is a drug kingpin who keeps a tight security over his mansion. As they try to devise a plan, Miri approaches Kazuki and tells him that his hamburger tastes different from her mom’s. Kazuki starts bragging about it but is shocked when Miri says that her mom’s was better.

They prepare to head off after all their preparations but are forced to take Miri with them, as they are unable to leave her alone. Rei hides himself to shoot while Kazuki disguises as a worker coming to check the house’s security and heads inside the house. He puts several bombs inside the house for fake attacks so that the boss will run out and be killed by Rei.

Everything is going well but Miri rings the bell as she has to use the bathroom. The bodyguard allows her but she exposes Kazuki. Kazuki takes her and runs to a room where the boss is. They are cornered by the bodyguards who are about to shoot but Rei shoots them from outside first. He saves them, but they are forced to retreat without finishing their mission.

While fleeing, Kazuki scolds Miri for ruining their plan and asks her to not call her “Papa” outside of their house. Kyutaro calls them and tells them they are off their job. He also tells Kazuki that he has gotten information about Miri and her mother and promises to send it later. They are relieved that they will get her off their backs soon.

Meanwhile, Ogino succeeds in killing the drug kingpin and completes the job left by Kazuki and Rei.
