The show starts as the second term begins for Sekitomo High, and all the characters we know and love meet again. The day starts with another secret meeting between Hinami and Tomozaki now that their fight is over.
Hinami, who’s helping him reach his final goal of “Being satisfied with offline life,” gives him his new “small task”. This time, the task is to observe the interpersonal relations between others.
The first day was a fruitful one since captains for sports were chosen. In their afternoon meeting, Hinami gives Tomozaki the task of making Erika participate in the sports.
Tomozaki takes on this challenge and sees it as an RPG game quest. He decides to search for information that’ll help him in his task. He first talks with Izumi, who is close to Erika and learns about her love for softball. Later, he talks with Tsugumi Narita, his senior at work, and Kikuchi. Both of them give him two more vital weak points for Erika.
With this, Tomozaki just needs to find the key items to finalize his strategy. The next day, with Izumi’s help he manages to lock in Softball as the girls’ sports. The situation turns in his favor as Izumi decides to take the leader role from Hirabayashi to free her from the burden.
Now, Tomozaki has everything he needs except help from certain individuals. He asks Hinami if it’s okay to take other’s help, especially Hinami’s. He explains that he’ll still be using the controller, and Hinami will act like his chosen character. To this, Hinami agrees, and now “Nanashi’s” plan is set in motion.
