In the manga, the recent introduction of the Kara Organisation(kind of like Akatsuki), and Naruto & Sasuke’s fight against its leader Jigen, has stirred up trouble in the shinobi world yet again. After the battle with Isshiki Otsutsuki(in Jigen’s body), Naruto was sealed inside a box protected by Boro UNTIL NOW!
Chapter 43 was released recently, and it picked up from the aftermath of Sarada’s Chidori on Boro. The monstrosity named Boro has finally been defeated!
1. Chapter 44 Release Date
Chapter 44 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations will release on 20th March 2020 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. It will begin with the much-anticipated battle between Jigen and Kashin Koji. We may also see Team 7 and Naruto back in Konohagakure.

3. Chapter 44 Speculation
Chapter 44 is going to be a fantastic chapter due to a specific set of events following the last panel of chapter 43.
The main event of the next chapter will be – how the things would turn out in the Kara hideout – since the last panel shows Kashin Koji heading to fight and defeat Jigen once and for all.
We will see Boruto’s gang and the rescued Naruto going back to the Konohagakure. With this fight, Kawaki has proved himself less of a threat. In Konohagakure, things might be slower than what the fans would want with Naruto and Sasuke both being unconscious.
4. Chapter 43 Plot
Chapter 43, titled Manifestation, was released recently and ended on a fantastic note. The chapter starts with Sarada’s Chidori destroying Boro’s heart which led to instability in his modified body.
Meanwhile, Kawaki and Boruto uses their karma to create an inter-dimensional portal and manage to take Naruto out of the sealed vessel.
Due to the instability, Boro grows larger into size, losing his motor controls and begins rampaging. When Mitsuki, Sarada, and Kawaki fall against his enormous power; something wakes up inside Boruto.
Boruto is suddenly hovering mid-air and has Otsutsuki-like features, especially horns on the head. Even Boro gets scared and recognises Boruto as an Otsutsuki.
It seems like Momoshiki’s conscience is somehow able to take over Boruto’s body just like Isshiki took Jigen’s. Momoshiki(Boruto) then borrows some chakra from Naruto and destroys Boro with a massive Rasengan.
The chapter ends with the final panel showing Kashin Koji heading towards beaten Jigen to defeat him once and for all.
