Boruto Episode 292: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Boruto and Kawaki face off against Code in episode 291 of Boruto, titled “Control.”

As Boruto channels Karma without Momoshiki taking over his body thanks to the medicines, he manages to take on Code in battle and go even with him, with neither of them being able to land a finishing blow as Kawaki watches from the sidelines.

Naruto and the village leaders finally catch on to what has happened, begin tracking down Boruto’s chakra, and immediately mobilize when they realize the risk.

1. Episode 292 Speculation: 

Momoshiki has taken over Boruto’s body and will now easily win against Code, considering how much more powerful he is. Likely, Code will probably abort his mission for now and immediately make an exit considering he is not at his maximum strength right now.

However, he might also turn on Kawaki or go too far, which will prove the perfect time for Naruto and Shikamaru to enter the scene and for the Hokage to show off Sage mode again.

3. Recap of Episode 291:

Code introduces himself to Boruto and even claims that he reveres him since he is an Otsutsuki’s vessel, and Boruto politely asks him to leave and go home. Kawaki tries to get Boruto to leave before he gets destroyed, but Boruto stands his ground.

People back at the village finally catch on to what’s happening and begin to track down Boruto’s chakra while he faces off against Code in battle, using his abilities to the max and trying to juke Code with shadow clones. 

However, Code has mastered the use of Karma and uses that to his advantage to outsmart Boruto and knock him to the ground, evading his attacks while Kawaki hopelessly watches. He explains the true root of power that Karma gives since it has the accumulated power of the Otsutsuki.

Boruto finally awakens the Momoshiki’s power and dodges his attack, and warns Kawaki to move back a little as he immediately charges for attacking Code with multiple shadow clones and blasts him backward into the forest, launching a barrage of attacks which Code masterfully dodges using his unique ability.

Shikamaru decides to go along with Naruto since he doesn’t have Kurama’s power anymore, and he’s the only one available to fight right now. He activates Sage mode and prepares to go simultaneously as Boruto and Kawaki remain at a standstill with Code.

Code tries to sneak around Boruto and take Kawaki to the lair with him but is outdone by them and cannot kidnap him. Boruto and Kawaki now team up and launch synchronized attacks and force Code to play on the defensive. 

The exhaustion as a side effect of the meds starts kicking in, and Boruto is brought to the ground. However, right before Code lands the final blow on him, a vision of Momoshiki causes time to stand still with just Boruto and Momoshiki in his mind, who asks him to switch.
