The Uzumaki family was featured in episode 258 of Boruto, which is always fun to see since anime is really good at making these kinds of shows.

Character acting was pretty good in this episode, like when Kawaki missed the ping pong ball, and Boruto leaned into the camera.

It was also nice to see Boruto step onto the board and back away from it. The little scuffles between Boruto and Kawaki are always great to see, but they always feel bittersweet because Kawaki will supposedly destroy the village in the future.

As far as Kawaki is concerned, he is nothing more than a tenant of the Uzumaki household. Because of his upbringing, he does not consider himself a family member.

The rest of the world treats him like one despite that. Ghosts could have been handled better, but it feels like they’ll revisit it in the future, just like the Mirai arc brought us back to this inn.
