Boruto Episode 240: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 239 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations starts with the Denki trying to repair the busted ship, but the engine has given out. They’re smack in the middle of nowhere and under the scorching sun.

Boruto feels drained, and as he lays his head back, he loses his balance and falls into the ocean. When he wakes up, he finds his friends around him saying he had passed out from the heat.

That can’t be. Boruto even has faint memories of being saved by a person with webbed hands. Could it just have been a hallucination?

Here are the latest updates.

Episode 240 Speculations

Kagura is trying to find a way to get to Lord Chojuro before he wages war on the Funato, but that doesn’t seem to be going well. Their ship is wrecked, and a vital replacement part is missing.

Even if Ikada and Boruto find the part they’re looking for, I think they might encounter the Funato that far up north. Will they be able to make it back to their shipbuilding island and successfully escape the Funato?

Boruto is under the sun in the summer heat and lays his head back on the railing. He misses and falls straight into the ocean. Boruto can’t seem to make it to the surface of the water.

As he’s drowning, Boruto sees a figure dive into the water to save him. When he wakes up from having water thrown at him, his friends tell him that he passed out from the heat. Boruto tells them how he drowned and was saved, but his friends tell him he was hallucinating.

A ship comes towards them. Boss Kajiki and his apprentice Ikada climb up their ship. They are shipbuilders who want to help them. Kajiki looks at their engine and says he can’t repair it here, and it would have to be towed back to their island.

All their other ships have been sent out to fight the Funato. So their best bet would be to fix it as soon as they can. Boruto thinks Ikada is the one who saved him from drowning, but Ikada does not have webbed hands. Boruto had seen his savior’s hands, and they were webbed.

The Funato leaders are seen feasting, and Tenma is sad that he lost one of the most important Funato battleships. His father assures him that it is okay. They’ll prepare for the next inevitable battle with Lord Chojuro of Hidden Mist village.

The shipbuilders are out of stock for one of the parts they need to replace. Ikada was in charge of stocking up on parts, but he forgot, and now it would be dangerous to head north via sea because of the Funato.

The factory is far away in the north, and Kajiki won’t allow Ikada to go on his own, so Boruto volunteers to go with him. They get on Ikada’s boat and speed away.
