In Episode 213, titled ‘True Identity,’ Amado spilled beans over the secrets of Otsutsukis and explained how Isshiki Otsutsuki took over Jigen’s body.
Amado also revealed a lot about how Otsutsukis take over the bodies of their vessels and how they suck chakra from a planet.
Naruto got another shock when he learnt that Boruto’s karma was embedded by Momoshiki Otsutsuki, and Boruto will gradually cease to exist.
In the end, Naruto agreed to grant Amado asylum in the Leaf village. Amado asked Naruto to team up with him and stop Isshiki from taking over Kawaki’s body completely.

Episode 214 Preview and Speculations
A lot of information about Otsutsukis was revealed in episode 213. Naruto got a great shock, and it’ll be interesting to see what he will do to stop Momoshiki from taking over his son’s body.
Moreover, Amado and Naruto have already agreed on joining hands to stop Isshiki, which means the next few episodes are going to be a lot more fun.
Hopefully, why Koji looks so similar to Jiraiya will also be revealed in the upcoming episodes. It is confirmed that Koji was created by Amado, which could mean that Amado used Jiraiya’s body to create him.
Besides, why Kaguya Otsutsuki turned against Isshiki Otsutsuki was also not revealed in the episode. We hope it will be revealed in the next episode and expect Amado to come up with some way to defeat Isshiki and Momoshiki.

Episode 214 of the Boruto (2021) anime, titled “Predestined Fate”, has been released on Sunday, Sep 05, 2021.
Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

Episode 213 Recap
As the live video of the conversation between Jigen and Koji projects on the wall, Jigen asks Koji for an explanation for why he wants to kill him despite agreeing on obtaining the chakra fruit. The fight between the two starts, and they attack each other mercilessly.
Suddenly, the live video stops due to transmission failure, and Amado starts to tell everything he knows about the Otsutsuki. Amado reveals that Jigen was originally a human, and his body was taken over by an Otsutsuki.
Otsutsukis are invaders from another planet who evolve by consuming the chakra fruit which blooms on the Divine tree. The roots of the Divine tree grow deeply, reaching every corner of the planet to suck chakra from it. Once it finishes absorbing everything, it bears a chakra fruit.
Amado reveals that Kara’s aim is also to obtain a chakra fruit. Amado asks Sasuke about the coordinates they left in the airship to prove what he said is true. He adds that Otsutsukis use Ten-Tails as a seedling for the Divine tree.
He reveals that Isshiki Otsutsuki is the one growing the Divine tree this time. Isshiki came to the planet with Kaguya Otsutsuki, but soon, Kaguya turned against Isshiki. Isshiki escaped with life-threatening injuries and took over the body of a monk named Jigen.
Before explaining further, Amado asks Naruto if he will grant him asylum in the Leaf village or not, and Naruto agrees. Amado explains that Boruto’s karma was embedded by Momoshiki Otsutsuki, who converted into data and implanted himself into Boruto’s body.
He says that karma is like a highly compressed Otsutsuki backup file. The file slowly decompresses over time, and the vessel will cease to exist. On listening to this, Naruto starts worrying about saving his son and asks Aamado if there’s any way.
Amado says that there’s no way, but Momoshiki’s revival can be stopped if he kills Boruto right away. He further reveals that Isshiki still physically exists inside Jigen. Isshiki made Kawaki his vessel because he cannot be reborn in Jigen’s body, as it’s too weak.
Amado asks Naruto to join hands with him and stop Isshiki from being reborn in Kawaki’s body. By this time, the transmission reconnects, and the shinobis watch Koji and Jigen fighting aggressively.
