1. Episode 202 Preview & Speculation

I never thought I’d see the day where Kurama acted like a wise grandfather. I love how Kurama describes himself as a yokai to Kawaki to make things easier for him to understand.

Sarada is showing some progress with her Chidori, but it looks like she hasn’t mastered it yet. I really hope she adds a unique twist to her Chidori once she masters it.

Judging by the preview, it will get creepier. Overall the suspense is building to Jigen or Boro visiting the village and fighting Naruto. Or maybe even Koji making his own surprise attack towards Naruto.

He tells him Naruto’s story of how he was forced to be the vessel of a creature who killed his parents and says that Naruto is like him.

Kurama comments that he is not a weapon to Naruto but a chain that constrained his life. After Naruto’s parents sealed him inside Naruto’s body, he tried many times to break the seal by provoking his anger and making him go on a rampage.

Kawaki is still not ready to believe that Naruto has been dealing with such a massive power ever since his birth.

So, Kurama further explains that Naruto didn’t get the support of anyone from the village and spent all of his time alone. In the end, it was not any jutsu that filled Naruto’s heart. Kawaki remembers Naruto telling him that friendships can change anything in unbelievable ways.

Kurama tells him that Naruto’s strongest when he is fighting for his friends. Kawaki asks if he can ever become like Naruto. Kurama answers that it’s not impossible. On hearing this, Kawaki starts crying. Kurama disappears after asking Kawaki to find the missing piece.

The following day, Kawaki again remembers a traumatic memory of Jigen as he trains with Boruto and Naruto. He succeeds in using chakra control to climb a tree while being watched by Team 7 and Naruto. Mitsuki and Sarada observe him from a distance.

Mitsuki comments that Kawaki will be an incredible shinobi in the future. But Sarada worries about him getting special treatment from Naruto.

While walking back home, Kawaki asks Boruto how his pain from the Karma is, since the previous fight. To which Boruto replies that he hasn’t felt any.

Kawaki reveals that the pain has gone away from him too, and he has also stopped waking up from nightmares.

Kawaki wonders if it’s the result of Ninjutsu training as he has been feeling stronger than before. Sarada reveals that she has been training under Sasuke. On listening to this, Naruto asks Mitsuki to be trained with him as he doesn’t want to lag behind.

Mitsuki accepts the proposal. Boruto asks Kawaki too, but he refuses. When Boruto is about to go for training, Kawaki tells Boruto that it is Jigen who carved the Karma into it, and pledges to defeat Jigen one day.

Sarada practices her Chidori near a waterfall and feels frustrated as she thinks her Chidori is nowhere near her dad’s. Shikamaru gets to know that Kara’s leader is Jigen.

He is relieved to learn that Sai had already sent Sasuke to investigate the coordinates gathered from the airship.  Sai reveals that it is in another dimension and can only be reached by true Space-Time Ninjutsu.

Sasuke arrives in a separate dimension, at an Otsutsuki Shrine. Meanwhile, Boro addresses his cult, further mesmerizing them with the idea of Otsutsuki saviors who’d use the Infinite Tsukuyomi to deliver mankind to salvation.
