Episode 226 Speculations

It was very sad to see Cho-cho lose, but it wasn’t unexpected. Sarada also realized what it means to be a Shinobi.

Why is Shinki obsessed over Kawaki? He can’t be that much of a chunin match enthusiast that he’ll take the time to go and stop Kawaki. There could be something more at work.

On the fighting ground, as Cho-cho and Sarada fight each other, Cho-cho gets hurt. Sarada runs off to say she’s sorry, enraging Cho-cho.

It makes her think Sarada came to this fight unprepared because she must have underestimated Cho-cho. Sarada realizes that she genuinely wasn’t giving it her all and a shinobi must be prepared to do anything.

Sarada squares up and apologizes, promising she’s going to put in the most effort and win. She overpowers Cho-cho in some time and is declared a winner and a chunin.

On the other end, Boruto and Mitsuki spy on some men in suits, offering Amado money and unlimited resources to help them with scientific tools. Shinobis of their village alone aren’t enough to protect them.

Amado refuses, which is shocking since he’s always been so shady. Boruto and Mitsuki fight those men, receiving Amado. It is here that they realize they have an important exam today (Not a care in the world, those two).

They run back to the city, leaving Amado where he was. What was the point of the rescue then? Will they make it back in time?
