Boruto Episode 291: Release Date, Speculations, Watch Online

Boruto and Kawaki manage to finally meet Code in episode 290 of Boruto, titled “Presence.”

Constantly watched by a bodyguard, Kawaki finally finds a way to erase his chakra signature and shake his tail; once he leaves the village outskirts, he runs into a familiar face as Code immediately launches an attack against him.

To protect the Hokage’s life, Kawaki tries to put down his own life and offers to go with Code willingly. But Boruto cannot accept this deal and immediately intervenes.

1. Episode 291 Speculation: 

Boruto stands between both Code and Kawaki as he tries to sacrifice himself willingly. Still, a fight between Code and Boruto will likely break out, with Code winning it reasonably quickly, considering Boruto’s inexperience.

However, since Naruto and the rest of the village are tracking him, they should be able to show up on site soon, but it is still likely that Kawaki is taken or willingly goes to Eida and tries to convince her himself.

Boruto begins getting annoyed that he and his friends have been assigned a bodyguard who hangs around them the entire time, but everyone else tries to reassure him that it’s for the best since they’re in danger all the time now.

Shikamaru is also struggling to track down Code and finds that even he is much more challenging to deal with than expected. The Uzumaki household continues as usual. However, the bodyguard constantly monitors them as Kawaki jumps into a bush.

Once he goes back, Boruto begins feeling a presence from outside, but the bodyguard senses no chakra signatures whatsoever. Even Eida watches and realizes he could completely erase his signature, a technique that comes naturally to the Otsutsuki.

Naruto asks the Kawaki inside to open the door and finds that he explodes into a clone immediately, and the real one sprints outside the village quickly, and Code begins tracking him down.

He chases after him and manages to mark him as the rest of the village begins making plans as to where he could be and his motives. Boruto also sprints out to find himself as Code and Kawaki trade blows.

Code quickly overpowers him and lands a kick on Kawaki, knocking him to the floor. Kawaki is trying to take all the blame for Isshiki’s death and wants to save everyone else by sacrificing just himself.

Code says that his life alone won’t change anything, especially since he has removed him from his vengeance list, and his goals are much more than he thinks as he tries to take Kawaki to the boss but is immediately stopped by the entrance of Boruto.

Kawaki is afraid for Naruto’s life and wants to solve the situation himself without risking the life of the Hokage, and he asks to see his boss willingly for the sake of negotiation. Boruto tries to stop him and punches Kawaki to the ground.
