Chapter 65 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations starts with Boruto clutching his chest, and all of a sudden, it’s welcome to Momoshiki world.
Momoshiki recognizes Code as the annoying sideshow that he is and decides to do some pest control. Kawaki’s ungratefulness comes through, and he attacks his savior, Momoshiki, who gives him a well-deserved kick in the face.
Naruto rescues him, and Momoshiki wants to kill the Hokage now. Kawaki attacks him again because acting without a plan is his character description. Were those anti-otsutsuki pills just a pharma scam?
Here are the latest updates.
1. Chapter 66 Discussions and Prediction
In a massive reveal, we see that Kawaki does have karma and a lethal one at that. So this is why we see Amado muttering under his breath, saying Kawaki shouldn’t fail him now.
Fans wanted to see Kurama magically come back to Naruto, but that didn’t happen.
Code should have fled when he had the chance. There are too many players in the game, and he doesn’t know what to do. Kawaki looks like he will beat both Momoshiki and him to a pulp.
2. Chapter 66 Release date
Chapter 66 of the Boruto manga has been released on Thursday, Jan 20, 2022. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.
I. Is Boruto on a Break this Week?

3. Chapter 66 Raw Scans, Leaks
The title of the highly anticipated chapter is “Killed or Be Killed.” It starts with Kawaki’s new karma-activated arm, as he recalls a conversation with Amado talking about the powers he wished to wield.
Code and Ada are confused at Kawaki, while Kawaki gives a cold stare at Borushiki before the two start their battle.
Borushiki dodges the first attack of Kawaki, also dodges the second attack, which was an attack from Kawaki by transforming his arm into a scythe.
On the other hand, Code’s claw gets closer around Shikamaru’s neck, and then Kawaki and Naruto have an intense mid-battle conversation.
Kawaki uses unnamed fire ninjutsu, but Borushiki dissipates the flame and goes for a sneak attack. Kawaki is one step ahead of him and shrinks himself to dodge the attack, and grows right back up.
In the middle of this intense battle, Borushiki’s left eye indicated that Boruto is re-emerging since his eye started to open up. Still, Kawaki soon generates four black rods through his palm, striking through Boruto’s body. Naruto saves Boruto from a giant black cube hovering above him right in the nick of time.
Boruto gets up and tells Naruto to get away. Boruto makes the serpent hand seal, and in the midst of attacking his opponent, he also blasts away his father using Wind Release Gale Palm.
Boruto steadies himself while keeping a close eye on Kawaki. Kawaki then pierces Boruto straight through his heart, leaving him bleeding heavily from his chest.
Naruto watches everything in horror, and in the end, Kawaki becomes more brutal with his ways as he plunges his hand deeper into Boruto and sends him flying into a heap.
4. Recap Chapter 65
Boruto drops to the ground in pain. He sees Momoshiki in his head, and it’s like time has stopped. Outside his mind, in the real world, Kawaki sees those Otsutsuki marks appear on his body.
Momoshiki in Boruto’s body looks at Code, recognizing him to be the caretaker of Ten-Tails. Momoshiki attacks Code with his Rasengan, but he dodges.
Back over at the village, Amado mutters under his breath how Code shouldn’t have located Kawaki so easily.
Code knows he can’t beat Momoshiki, so he tries to take Kawaki hostage and flee, but Momoshiki uses Rasengan. This would be the size of a bullet, so it pierces Code.
Now, Boruto tries to take Kawaki away, but he fights back, so he kicks Kawaki in the face.
Naruto arrives with Shikamaru and saves Kawaki, who asks him to run away. Code takes Shikamaru hostage and says the Hokage should play nice. Shikamaru asks him to go for it anyway.
Momoshiki decides to kill the Hokage instead, so Kawaki attacks him, earning another kick from Momoshiki. He unleashes a massive Rasengan on Naruto, but it gets absorbed.
It’s revealed to be Kawaki, and it turns out the arm Amado gave him had karma that’s purely a weapon.
