No, Chapter 61 will be released as per its schedule. No such delay is announced.

2. Chapter 61 Speculations

Chapter 61 will reveal Kawaki’s decision on Amado implanting a karma on him. I think he will agree with this insane idea since it will ultimately help Konoha in the end.

Kawaki is well aware that Naruto has become a lot weaker since he lost Kurama, so there must be someone else of the same caliber to protect Konoha from threats like Code.

5. Recap of Chapter 60

In Chapter 60, claw marks are being spotted at various places in the Shinobi world, and Shikamaru believes that Code is the one behind it.

He concludes that he can travel from one claw mark to another almost instantly, much like Tobirama’s Flying Raijin jutsu.

In Konoha, such marks are spotted at three places outside the walls, and Shikamaru has skilled Jonins monitoring all of them. He fears that those marks can just be for scattering Konoha’s security.

Meanwhile, in the laboratory, Sumire is concerned about Amado’s intention behind implanting the karma on Kawaki, and she keeps asking him a lot of questions.

Amado tactfully avoids the interrogation and assures her that he has no intention of betraying Konoha. He even reveals that he is working on a secret project which will ultimately help Konoha to fight against Code.

Just a few hundred meters away, in the Hokage statues, Naruto shows up to retrieve Kawaki back to home as it is getting late for dinner. However, Kawaki is going through a lot of anxiety, wondering if Konoha is the right place for him.

Naruto assures him that despite his past life, Kawaki is now one of them, and a shinobi of Konoha. He even calls him his son, carries him back to their home on his back.

Here, Hinata, Himawari and Boruto were eagerly waiting for him to surprise him with a welcome party. Naruto explains that the Uzumaki family wanted to do something special for their new family.

The moment gets even more wholesome when Boruto offers Kawaki the hidden leaf headband that he treasures so much. He calls him a shinobi of Konoha and a precious member of Team 7, and once again, Naruto feels proud of his son.

Can Kawaki live up to the trust and faith that everyone has put on him? Is he going to accept Amado’s offer of reimplanting the karma? We have to wait for the next episode to find that out.
