Boruto Chapter 60: Release Date, Discussion, Read Online

Chapter 59 introduced us to yet another supervillain of the series, Daemon. He is Eida’s little brother, who will be acting as her guardian knight since she isn’t good at close-range combats.

Meanwhile, Amado offers Kawaki to get another karma and use it as a weapon to defeat Code. It is quite unnatural to get such a proposal, especially from someone aware of karma’s horrors.

What intentions does he have? We bring you the latest chapter updates for this manga.

I. Is Boruto: Naruto Next Generations on a Break This Month?

No, Chapter 60 will be released as per its schedule. No such delay is announced.

2. Chapter 60 Speculations

Chapter 60 will most probably reveal more about Amado’s intention behind restoring Kawaki’s karma. Is it really for Konoha’s benefit? Or he has some selfish motive?

Meanwhile, Eida will be observing everything with her clairvoyant eyes and patiently wait for the right time to attack Konoha. She has to rely on Code and Daemon for physical combat as she can’t do it herself with her make-shift Taijutsu skills.

In other words, Eida will be the brain, and Code will be her brawn. But since the current situation isn’t really in their favor, they will avoid taking any reckless steps.

I am more concerned about how those otsutsukification restricting pills will affect Boruto. The side effects may be loss of vision or even death, in the worst-case scenario.

3. Chapter 60 Raw Scans and Leaks

The raw scans and spoilers for Chapter 60 of Boruto: Naruto Next Generation manga have been leaked, and the rough translation goes like this: The chapter is titled “Where You Belong.” In this chapter, Ibiki, Naruto, Sai, and Shikamaru share all the intel they have gathered about Code.

Shikamaru reveals the existence of strange claw marks around. He suspects that these markings are made by Code to teleport himself between the claw marks.

This somehow hints that Code can no longer use his space-time jutsu. Meanwhile, Sumire still suspects Amado, however, he assures Sumire that he won’t betray Konoha at any cost.

5. Recap of Chapter 59

In Chapter 59, Kawaki wakes up from a nightmare where he sees Code choking him to death. It’s probably either Eida or Code’s ability to warn Kawaki about their existence.

Amado reveals that despite Isshiki’s death, Kawaki is still an Otsutsuki vessel. Kawaki’ body remaining Otsutsukified is living proof that the theory stands.

Amado admits that implanting Boruto’s karma on Code may able to save him, but since Code already has a karma on him, there’s no way of confirming if this plan will work out.

Moreover, even if it works out, they have to wait for complete otsutsukification till Boruto can be resurrected. Obviously, Code won’t wait that long and will definitely strike first.

Amado doubts if Naruto stands a chance before Code without his nine-tailed fox. So, he proposes a way to boost Kawaki’s power by reconstructing the karma he lost.

This new karma will be purely a weapon since Isshiki is already dead, so there’s no risk of resurrecting him. However, Kawaki rejects the idea immediately as he is aware of the horrors a karma seal brings to its wielder.

Meanwhile, Eida and Code are planning an attack on Konoha. They agree to stay calm for now and wait for the right moment to strike. She introduces Code with yet another cyborg supervillain of this series, Daemon.

He is Eida’s brother and possesses the ability to reflecting the opponent’s attack. He can control someone’s killing intent and turn it against themselves.

Can the new generation ninjas protect Konoha from this evil cyborg trio? We have to wait for the upcoming chapters to find that out.
