Being the successor of a decade-long, super-hit manga with a title as esteemed as one of “Big Three,” the Boruto manga invoked many expectations. Hence, Boruto manga started with a lot of disdain from the audience since it didn’t live up to Naruto’s hype.
However, as the chapters passed and the story progressed, Boruto started picking itself up to the fan-base it has today, by one underlying philosophy, “We have achieved the peace that Naruto longed for! “
The manga is in its Kara arc at the moment, and chapter 49 came out last month – the boss fight between the Konoha team (Naruto, Sasuke, and Boruto) vs. Isshiki Ohtsutsuki (Jigen) has finally begun.

Chapter 50 Speculations and Predictions
The way I see it, even the words “pretty freakin’ awesome,” fell short in front of how epic the past few chapters were. From revealing Koji’s true identity to explaining how to defeat an Ohtsutsuki, Boruto manga showed us EVERYTHING!
The next chapter is going to be pretty straightforward and we will get to see the fight between Naruto-Sasuke-Boruto and the god, Isshiki Ohtsutsuki.
On the other hand, if they don’t run, it is unlikely they will be able to beat Isshiki Ohtsutsuki. While they could have defeated him in the other dimension if not for Isshiki’s surprise jutsu, now, they don’t stand a chance against fully resurrected Ohtsutsuki.

Chapter 50 Release Date
Episode 50 of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime has been released on Sunday, Sep 20, 2020 at 9:30 am PDT. The episode title or preview has not been shown.
In the next chapter, we will see the boss fight, and it will be interesting to see how Boruto will play his part in a battle between god-level beings.
Chapter 50 Raw Scans, Leaks
Raw scans for Chapter 50 of the Boruto manga have not been leaked yet. The scans are usually leaked a day or two before the chapter’s official release. Hence, they will be out by Sept 18, 2020.
Chapter 49 Recap
Boruto Chapter 49, titled “Prepared,” starts with Isshiki infiltrating Konohagakure. While the Hokage’s office is still discussing the plan of action, all the chunins and joinins begin to evacuate the citizens.
The plan is to let Amado, Boruto, and Kawaki getaway while Naruto and Sasuke distract Isshiki – Naruto rushed to Isshiki while Boruto argues about coming along with Sasuke.
Naruto and Isshiki begin the fight with taijutsu while Sasuke arrives! He says that he has a plan and throws his katana at him. Just when he tries to shrink the katana he realizes he can’t! It is Boruto!!! That is classic Sasuke. (Remember Naruto transforming into shuriken and Sasuke throwing him at Zabuza? Ah, nostalgia.)
Boruto uses his karma power to transport Isshiki to a remote location far away from Konoha while Naruto and Sasuke follow.
