Being the successor of a decade-long, super-hit manga with a title as esteemed as one of the “Big Three,” the Boruto manga invoked a lot of expectations. Hence, Boruto manga started with a lot of disdain from the audience since it didn’t really live up to the hype of Naruto.
However, as the chapters passed and the story progressed, Boruto started picking itself up to the fan-base it has today, by one underlying philosophy, “We have achieved the peace that Naruto longed for! “
The manga is in its Kara arc at the moment, and chapter 46 came out last month. So, it’s time to discuss the release date, scans, and other details for chapter 47 of the manga.
1.Chapter 47 Release Date & Highlights
Chapter 47 of the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga will release on Saturday, June 20. The title for the next chapter will be “Predestined Fate.”
In the next chapter, we will be told the truth about Kashin Koji’s true identity and his relation with Jiraiya.
Boruto manga is published under Shueisha’s V Jump magazine, which is a monthly magazine that comes out on the 20th of every month.

No, chapter 47 of the Boruto Naruto Next Generations manga is not on a break this month. It will be released as per its monthly schedule in a couple of days.
3.Chapter 47 Raw Scans, Leaks & Spoilers
Raw scans for Chapter 47 of the Boruto manga came out recently and made a huge revelation.
Boruto chapter 47 will be titled “Predestined Fate.” It will start with Jigen slowly trying to shrink the eternal flames as the Isshiki’s personoality starts to kick in.
Jigen suddenly starts to burn – Amado explains that it is because of Jigen not being able to recover from fighting against Naruto and Sasuke. This is exactly why Amado and Koji decided to strike at this moment.
Naruto thinks that this is the way to kill an Ohtsutsuki, Sasuke corrects him about Jigen still having karma. Amado explains that as long as Jigen’s body has karma Isshiki can resurrect.
He also reveals that whenever an Ohtsutuski resurrects all other karma are dissappeared. Isshiki Ohtsutsuki finally shows his true power – the man who transcended gods and has unprecedented power. His resurrection leads to the dissappearing of Kawaki’s karma.
Boruto chapter ends with an expected but nonetheless epic reveal – Kashin Koji is indeed the clone of one the three legendary Sanin, Jiraiya of the Village Hidden in the leaves.

4.Chapter 47 Speculations/Predictions
The way I see it, even the words “pretty freakin’ awesome,” fell short in front of how epic chapter 46 was. From teasing the subtle resemblance in Kashin’s jutsu and that of Jiraiya’s to answering every Ohtsutsuki question ever, chapter 46 had everything.
But, with so much information, there are a lot of ways chapter 47 can take. Today, I will delve into the two major ones out of many others.
I. How to Kill an Ohtsutsuki?
In chapter 46 of the Boruto manga, Amado claimed to know the way of killing the members of Ohtsutsuki clan – a clan that has transcended to the level of gods.
As of now, there is not even a thread of information to predict what Amado would say. Unless, of course, he goes ‘Naruto x Sasuke vs. Kaguya’ and says that sealing them is the only way.
II. Kashin’s Identity
It is hard to not ignore the uncanny resemblance between Jiraiya and Koji’s techniques. If Ikemoto sensei decides to keep the cat in the bag on the matter of How to kill an Ohtsutsuki?, this is most certainly the next big thing for the Boruto manga.
So far, there have been a lot of theories on Koji’s true identity, out of which three prevail above all.
- Kashin Koji is indeed Jiraiya.
- Kashin Koji is Jiraiya’s son.
- Kashin Koji is Jiraiya’s clone.

6. Chapter 47, “True Identity” Recap
Chapter 47 starts with the battle between the mysterious shinobi Kashin Koji and the man who was once his boss, Jigen. The next few panels are run in parallel between the fight at Kara hideout and the meeting at the Hokage chamber in Konoha.
When Naruto asks why Jigen and Kashin are fighting even though they are from the same team, Amado reveals that he and Kashin only joined Kara organization to kill Jigen (Isshiki Ohtsutsuki).
The fight between Kashin and Jigen is by far one of the most interesting fights in the Boruto manga. One of the reasons would be the nostalgic presence of Jiraiya, which Naruto also felt due to the uncanny resemblance of the jutsu usage.
During which, Amado explains the entire process of the Ohtsutsuki clan – a clan that has transcended to the level of Gods. He explains that Ohtsutsuki gains power by eating the fruit of Divine Tree (Chakra Fruit), which contains the chakra of the entire planet.
Also, the Ten-Tails, as we know it, is the seed that grows into the aforementioned Divine Tree. Pretty confusing, right? Worry not, I have explained this in detail below.
He also explains that Ohtsutsuki clan has achieved immortality by the usage of Karma – which is an Ohtsutsuki backup file – it copies the individual’s data into the vessel’s body all the while overwriting the original data of the vessel.
