Bokyaku Battery is a manga featuring baseball. The manga will get an OVA adaptation. It was first serialized in 2018 and has finally come to the attention of anime studios.
Bokyaku Battery is about a duo of friends who develop their friendship over playing baseball. Both the boys love baseball and later get enrolled in the same high school. However, they suddenly go missing from the baseball scenario.
Jump Special Anime Festa 2020 will debut an upcoming OVA for the Bokyaku Battery manga series. It is an online event and the OVA will debut on 11th October.
A special visual for the OVA has also been released.
The visual shows Haruka and Kei, the two main characters of the story. They are hanging out with their baseball equipment. One is the pitcher while the other is a catcher.
The Bokyaku Battery OVA is being animated by MAPPA. MAPPA is having a great year in 2020 with a fantastic anime lineup. With this new OVA, MAPPA seems to be exploring the realm for another hit anime series.
