BOFURI Season 2 Episode 9: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Maple and her guild clear the preliminary round of the eighth event in episode 8 of BOFURI season 2, titled “Defense Specialization and the Eighth Event.”

It was a generic episode with all the usual stuff. Nothing apart from the battle between Mii and Payne was mildly interesting or new. That battle was the only fun thing in the episode.

Other than that, we saw Maple and her guild easily get past the preliminary round, defeating every monster and never facing any tough situation.

Maple and her guild will move on to the next and final round of the eighth event in episode 9 of BOFURI season 2.

It won’t be a difficult round for the team, and the episode will be as generic as they come. We will see some new monsters, but none will last long, and the round will be easily completed.

It may be possible that the ninth event gets started in this episode itself. I hope something even mildly interesting happens.

3. Episode 8 Recap

Maple meets Misery, Shin, and Markus. They all talk about their tamed monsters. Maple tells them about her tamed monster and the others so she the monsters they have.

Shin has a bird named Wen, Markus has a frog called Clear, and Misery has a cat called Bell. They take their leave. Now it is time for the eight-event, starting with a preliminary round.

Everyone begins their preliminary journey. Maple easily defeats monsters on her way, but she somehow gains the ability that makes small monsters run away from her. She manages to get rid of the trouble.

Iz lays a trap for all the monsters, and they all get easily destroyed. May and Yui also get past their hurdles with the help of their tamed monsters. Kanade gets challenged by Dread and Drag for a duel.

They start fighting. Dread and Drag overwhelm Kanade and defeat her. They move forward, but Kanade doesn’t die and uses a decoy to protect herself from the duo.

Sally finds Mii and Payne battling each other with their tamed monsters. Their battle is intense, and both match each other’s power levels. However, before they reach the end of their fight, Maple shows up out of nowhere, clenched in a giant crocodile’s mouth.

Seeing her, Payne and Mii lose interest in continuing the battle, and Payne leaves. Sally asks Maple what she is doing, and she replies that the crocodile wanted to eat her, but she couldn’t get inside her stomach, so she uses this situation to her benefit.

Maple’s guild ranks top in the preliminary round, and now they eagerly await the final round.
