We know how the usual Trigger shows roll, the plot is all around not that hard to predict. However, BNA: Brand New Animal is presented in a way that it can provide an enjoyable, follow along the journey to fans.
At Anime Expo 2019, Studio Trigger announced that BNA: Brand New Animal anime will premiere in April 2020. The first 6 episodes of the series are already available on Netflix.
Now, Studio Trigger has announced that the remaining episodes 7-12 are coming to Netflix on Wednesday.
There is no news on its region-wise availability. Still, considering the first 6 episodes are Japan only, these episodes too might not be available outside Japan.
However, we would love to have this series in other regions as well, so let us hope for the best because a worldwide release might also happen in the future.
Live Stream
The staff also announced on Patreon that the series’ director Yoh Yoshinari, producer Naoko Tsutsumi, and storyboarder Masahiko Ohtsuka together will conduct a live stream on Twitch on Wednesday at 9 a.m. EDT.
The stream will also accept fan questions, and it is a nice way to celebrate the release of the anime’s second half.

About BNA: Brand New Animal
BNA: Brand New Animal is an upcoming original Japanese anime television series produced by Trigger, directed by Yoh Yoshinari and written by Kazuki Nakashima.
Set in the 21st century, this story revolves around a girl named Michiru. One day, she is suddenly transformed into a tanuki-human.
She is forced to take refuge in a special city which was set up a decade ago for animal-humans to live in peace. On meeting Shiro, a wolf-human, Michiru learns about the lifestyle of animal-humans and sympathizes with them.
Michiru realizes she is wrapped up into something big after she finds out the reason why she turned into an animal-human in the first place.
