Blue Miburo Anime Teaser Previews Opening Theme Song by SPYAIR

Blue Miburo, an upcoming TV anime based on the historical fiction manga by Tsuyoshi Yasuda, announced on their official website that SPYAIR will perform the opening theme song for the series, entitled “Ao” (“Blue”). A teaser video of the opening animation featuring the song was also released.

The series, highly anticipated by fans, is scheduled to debut in Japan on October 19, 2024, and will air on Saturdays at 5:30 p.m. on the YTV and NTV channels and their affiliates.

YTV screened the world premiere on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. PDT at this year’s Anime Expo event, giving lucky attendees an exclusive first look.

Cast Information

Kumiko Habara directs the TV anime at the animation studio MAHO FILM. With her experience in directing anime like I’m Standing on 1,000,000 Lives and I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss and Surgeon Elise, she will lead the anime at Maho Film. Kenta Ihara, known for his work in Gamera -Rebirth-, I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss, Uncle From Another World, brings his expertise to oversee the series scripts.

Yūko Ōba (I’m the Villainess, So I’m Taming the Final Boss, I’m Standing on 1,000,000 Lives.) and Miyako Nishida (My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1, If It’s for My Daughter, I’d Even Defeat a Demon Lord) are collaborating to design the characters, each bringing their unique style to the project. Toshiki Kameyama, as the sound director, and Yuki Hayashi, composing the music, complete this talented team.

Author’s Past Success Reassuring

Yasuda debuted the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in October 2021. Kodansha released the 13th compiled volume on April 17.

Yasuda’s soccer manga DAYS led to a television anime in 2016 and five original video anime episodes from 2017 to 2018, highlighting Yasuda’s diverse storytelling abilities. About Blue Wolves of Mibu

The Blue Wolves of Mibu is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Tsuyoshi Yasuda. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s shōnen manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Magazine since October 2021. An anime television series adaptation produced by Maho Film has been announced.
