Taiki Inomata has always admired his senior, Chinatsu Kano (from afar), for her dedication towards basketball. Their first interaction, where she accidentally hit him with a basketball, left a lasting impression on him.
The second and third episodes of Blue Box had stunning visuals and a heartwarming setting, after seeing Chinatsu coming to live with Taiki, the fans ate it up, and it has left them wanting more.

2. Blue Box Episode 2: Recap
In Episode 3, titled “Chii,” Hina steps up to comfort Taiki after his awkward discovery at the end of the last episode. Seeing Chinatsu and Haryu walking together gets on Taik’s nerves. Being a good friend, Hina reassures him.
In the world of athletes, being acquainted with each other is important. Taiki can’t help but feel uneasy, especially when he overhears Haryu calling Chinatsu by the nickname “Chii.”
There are many heartwarming (and more awkward) moments as Chinatsu and Taiki still adjust to living together.
Chinatsu forgets her key to the Taiki family house and asks Taiki when he’ll be home after practice. Hearing this, Taiki turns into the Flash and rushes home not to keep her waiting.
There is a cute moment where Chinatsu asks if he rushed back for her, and Taiki denies it with a straight face (tries to). The third episode explores the main character’s vulnerabilities, with Chinatsu expressing her feelings freely and Taiki struggling to acknowledge them.
Tension builds between Taiki and Haryu, especially when Taiki loses to him in a badminton match. This adds another layer of complexity to their interactions and rivalry, both in love and sports. However, Chinatsu constantly encourages Taiki, and that deepens their bond.
3. What will happen in Blue Box Episode 4?
In episode 4 of Blue Box, we can expect to witness Taiki’s struggle with his emotions to continue especially as he juggles his rivalry with Haryu and his feelings for Chinatsu, who is staying with him. The balance between sports and personal development will remain at the series’ core.
With Taiki paired up with Haryu for an upcoming doubles event, there will be many more complicated and awkward moments between them. At least in the earlier part of the anime, we will not see them growing chummy.
The next episode will likely have the sports action, front and center, as their rivalry intensifies on and off the court.
