5. Episode 9 Recap
The quest to track down the banner of Genghis Khan continues as the episode opens in Hanoi, Vietnam. Danny instructs Vince to locate Gen Huang, a Chinese monk who took the banner from Laos with the promise to return it to the Mongolians.
Danny also explains that they must act with urgency as the Horde is planning an attack on the Chinese New Year. Shaw explains the wisdom behind the Chinese calendar and asks Danny how things are with Lexi and that he should propose before the Chinese New Year to avoid bad luck.
Kate arrives and apologies to Shaw for what she said. She then tells Lexi, Danny, and Shaw that she wants to bring the CIA back in to help them find the banner. Danny agrees with Kate but Lexi has her reservations as his instincts about Kate have been wrong before.
