Episode 4 Speculation
Episode 4 is titled ‘Kill the shadow.’
Now that the war has started, the viewers would see more of Ishida’s part. He finds his grandfather’s journal, which marks the beginning of us getting to know much about their past as Quincies. Being a Quincy, will he go back to support the Quincies, or will he fight with his friends against the Quincies?
Opie hints that Ishida’s Heiling Pfeil is much more powerful than his. Though they both are Quincies, it is dubious that Opie seems to know a lot about Ishida’s power. On the contrary, I doubt Ishida even knew about Opie’s existence before this arc.
The fight between Ichigo and Opie will also continue in the next episode. Will Ichigo be able to defeat Opie and return to the Soul society is the question here. Kira is severely injured and is more likely to be on the verge of death.
Usually, the characters have survived the most grievous injuries, so whether he manages to survive, we ought to wait and see.
We are also introduced to the Stern Ritters, who have been shown to be very powerful. Further, their fight with the Soul reapers will be something to look forward to in the forthcoming episodes.

Recap of Episode 3
The Tres Bestias are impaired and lie defeated on the ground. Opie claims to know everything about Ichigo from the Daten that was provided to them by His majesty. He was listed as a Special threat.
Opie uses Hirenkyakyu to attack Ichigo, which he easily blocks. Opie introduces himself as Quincy. Their fight continues.
There is a captain’s meeting going on in the Squad One barracks. Since they have not yet found where the Quincies reside, they have no way of attacking them. The Head Captain orders the respective team’s captains to prepare for war.e
Opie tells Ichigo that Ishida’s Heiling Pfeil can never be weaker than his, and the reason remains a secret. The Wandenreich plans to invade the Soul Society in Ichigo’s absence.
Ichigo uses Getsuga tensho to attack Opie, who does not even seem to get scratched even when he stands there without any defense. Opie uses his power to absorb the soul from the surroundings, and the Sotenkinshun protecting Inoue and the others.
Opie is attacked by Ayon, a monster created by the combined left arms of the Tres Bestias. The attack is strong enough to blow Opie. Just as we were convinced that Ayon was getting the upper hand, Opie used Sklave Rai to absorb his surroundings again, eventually absorbing Ayon.
Meanwhile, Squad 13, Sixth Seat Kajomaro explains to Yuki and Shino that when the soul reapers kill the hollow, their souls are purified and sent to the soul society. When Quinces kill the hollows, their souls cease to exist forever.
There must be a balance between the souls in the living world and the Soul Society. If the number of souls lessens in the soul society like the present, the soul society will flow into the living world, thereby destroying both worlds.
Regarding that matter, the Soul Society had approached the Quincies repeatedly, but they turned them away each time. As a result, the Quincies Extermination Operation was carried out 200 years ago.
Captain Kurotsuchi seems to know that the Head captain summoned him because he wiped out 28,000 citizens of the Rukon district by mobilizing Squad 12 without his permission. In doing so, he believes that he saved the world.
Kurotsuchi also blames the Head Captain for the war that has started because he did not kill ‘that man’ 1,000 years ago, who we assume to be Yhwach.
The Quincies attack the soul society with the Flaming pillars of Reishi all over the area, Yhwach in the midst. Kira’s arm detaches from his body due to a sudden attack. He lies unconscious on the ground. They also blow off a soul reaper’s head without much effort.
We are introduced to The Sternritters, which might be the most powerful faction of the Quincies.
