Episode 2 Speculation
The world will be impacted by war, whose consequences will be immense. It’s either Quincies or Soul Reapers that will be eradicated completely from the face of the earth.
Quincies have already fired their first shots at the squad 1 lieutenant, Chojiro Sasakibe, who has already suffered a serious injury. Even so, Ichigo appears to be able to avoid losing his Bankai, so all is not lost. I’m looking forward to the second episode to see where this goes!

Episode 1 Recap
Soul Society’s Research and Development Department notices that the number of Hollows is dramatically decreasing. The boundaries between the living world and soul society may blur in just a few days. Officers Ryunosuke and Shino of squad 13 are tasked with monitoring the situation in Karakura town amid this development.
However, the former appears to be haunted by the possibility of facing Hollows, while the latter is confident and fearless. His worst fears are soon realized, and one of the enemies quickly knocks him out, compounding his misery.
When Ichigo, Orihime, Sado, and Ishida help Ryunosuke recover from his injuries after the hollows kill him, Ryunosuke fails to defend himself.
After Ryunosuke and Shino have awoken in Ichigo’s room, a man enters the room through the window without a word about the event that brought them together. He is kicked outside by Ichigo as soon as he reacts.
A quick investigation reveals that he is facing a Quincy named Asguiaro Ebern, despite initially believing that he was dealing with an Arrancar.
As squad 11 inspects the Rukon District, residents seem to have mysteriously disappeared. Ebern pulls out Ichigo’s Bankai in Karakura town, and he uses it on him.
Ichigo’s incredible powers eventually left him dumbfounded, even though he was confident he could defeat the Soul Reaper substitute. Despite his best efforts, Ebern manages to flee as he is about to question him.
At the same time, Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryuusai is in his office, oblivious to most of the mysterious events that unfold across Japan. A group of six masked men arrive and allegedly kill one of his men while he is distracted by his thoughts.
According to them, the Soul Society will be eradicated in the coming days due to their declaration of war from the Wandenreich. Wandenreich is a secret empire of the Quincy that designs to destroy the spirit world, even though the masked men don’t offer many explanations.
Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryuusai’s office was invaded by six masked men led by a man who conducted all the talking. Furthermore, he proclaimed that the Soul Society would not last more than five days due to the captain’s lax security protocols.
Yamamoto was told that the people of Soul Society would suffer a similar fate by the masked leader after he killed one of his men right before him.
Luders Friegen, a member of the Arrancar planetary order, is later revealed to be he who never introduced himself to the captain. His condescending manner toward his compatriots indicates that he considers himself superior to them despite respecting the emperor of Wandenreich. Unfortunately, he soon finds himself in trouble because of this attitude.
Having escaped Ichigo’s grasp, Asguiaro Ebern reunites with other Wandenreich members. The masked men also find Ebern bowing to him when Luders Friegen arrives with some other men dressed in disguises.
Friegen pompously praises the gesture as admirable. In any case, Ebern asserts that he would never bow before the likes of him. Luders’ right arm is severed before he can fully comprehend what is happening.
