Black Widow Will Release On Disney+ For Free Of Cost On October 6

The date that Black Widow will be free for all Disney+ subscribers has been revealed.

Disney+ confirms today, June 12, that the film will be available to subscribers at no additional cost beginning on October 6.

For those who don’t want to wait until October, Black Widow will be landing in theaters on July 9 while simultaneously being available on Disney+ Premier Access, which requires a Disney+ subscription and an additional $29.99 fee.

Originally announced as the start of Phase 4, Scarlett Johansson’s first solo movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is reasonably anticipated.

The movie might be a prequel to the rest of Phase 4, but Black Widow still offers viewers the first chance to see Natasha Romanoff as the main character of a Marvel Studios project.

Marvel Studios planned to released Black Widow in theaters at the beginning of May in 2020 but had to change these plans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, the blockbuster was delayed multiple times before Disney and Marvel elected to release a new release plan.

Black Widow is also celebrating advance tickets going on sale, with a new clip of Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova fighting Red Room assassins while running on rooftops.

While the fans worldwide are happy as they finally get to see Black Widow on the big screen, a $30 additional fee seems to be too high for the digital purchase for those who don’t want to visit theaters yet.

Those who wish to watch Black Widow on Disney+ will have to wait for at least 90 days if they don’t want to pay a hefty sum.

Black Widow digital downloads, blu-rays, and 4Ks could be available for purchase by late September. Still, for now, Black Widow is coming to Disney+ at no extra cost in October. As a result, the movie could retain its relevance for months after it debuts.

Black Widow is an upcoming American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, it is intended to be the 24th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Directed by Cate Shortland and written by Eric Pearson, the movie stars Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff alongside Florence Pugh, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, Ray Winstone, and Rachel Weisz.

It will be the first film in Phase Four of the MCU, and was delayed three times from an original May 2020 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The film follows Natasha Romanoff as she confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises.
