The third devil ruler, Astaroth, who was keeping his silence for so long, has finally resurfaced, and it looks like the toughest battle is yet to be fought.

The reveal of the biggest villain in the franchise still pales in front of the other shock that readers got at the end of the chapter.

Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga will be going on a hiatus for around three months. Thus chapter 332 will be released in either late July or August.

Tabata-sensei is taking this break in order to rest up before a new arc. This new arc might also be the final one for the series.

The Weekly Shonen Jump staff and the author of Black Clover have both agreed that it will be best for Tabata-sensei to take a proper break before taking the big leap.

If you are a regular reader of Black Clover then you might have noticed that the manga goes on frequent breaks due to the author’s health issues. I am hoping that the hiatus will give the author time to heal.

A confirmed date for the manga’s return has not been fixed yet. The extended rest period would also help the creator to write the manuscripts for the final arc.

The whole announcement including the English translation was posted on Viz Media’s website:

As an ardent reader of Black Clover, I want Yuki Tabata to get some good rest so that he can return with renewed vigor.

Yet, at the same time, stopping the manga right after Julius’ big reveal seems like a cruel way to go, so fingers crossed that chapter 332 returns soon.

About Black Clover

The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in; and his foster brother Yuno who received the rare four-leaf grimoire and has more magic power than most people! With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
