Black Panther 2 Gets ABC TV Special Featuring Tribute to Chadwick

The MCU’s Phase Four ends with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but that’s not why the sequel is getting an ABC special. ABC announced a TV special in honor of a film that has influenced people’s cultures and minds since its MCU debut.

Director Ryan Coogler had to rewrite Black Panther 2’s script after Chadwick’s death in 2020 since he decided not to recast for the role of T’Challa. The film features an emotional tribute to the king and panther who lives in the hearts of the Wakandans.

Posting on Twitter, ABC announced the TV special featuring the Chadwick Boseman tribute to air this Friday.
