A new trailer for The Boys Season 3 finale is out and it shows Black Noir getting ready to kill Soldier Boy. The finale episode is titled “The Instant White-Hot Wild”.
The Boys returned with a third season on Amazon Prime this year, and introduced several new supes through Payback and its leader, Soldier Boy. Though, earlier it was assumed that Soldier Boy died in Nicaragua, Billy Butcher and his team found him alive in Russia, where he was the victim of various experiments.
Now, Soldier Boy is hell-bent on taking revenge from those members of Payback who betrayed him back in 1984. With the help of Billy Butcher and Hughie Campbell, Soldier Boy is on a mission to hunt down ex-members of Payback, including Black Noir.
Noir’s problematic relationship with Soldier Boy can also be explained with the help of Noir’s animated backstory in the series, along with the battle that left him disfigured and took away his ability to speak.
However, after a talk with Buster and company, Noir seems to be ready to face Soldier Boy and his own fears in the awaited season finale.
In a new trailer for The Boys Season 3 finale, Noir is seen preparing for the showdown with Soldier Boy, Billy Butcher and Hughie Campbell. In the trailer, Homelander tells Noir that he can sharpen his sword for 1,000 hours, but it still won’t be able to cut Soldier Boy’s skin. Check out the trailer below.
The promo also hints at a fight between Butcher and Homelander, along with the confrontation between Noir and Soldier Boy.
In “Herogasm”, it was revealed that Soldier Boy is actually Homelander’s father. After this sudden revelation, it will be interesting to see if Soldier Boy will keep his promise of helping to kill Homelander.
Besides, Homelander’s desire to be loved and his insecurities might stop him from vilifying his own father. So, it all depends on the finale now.
One thing the audience can be sure of after watching the latest promo is that Noir wants Soldier Boy dead, at any cost and there will be quite a face-off between them in the season finale.
