Three dark months without Black Clover have passed, and the manga will finally resume serialization this week.
Yuki Tabata threw a huge curveball at us in chapter 331 and left us with no explanation whatsoever. Yes, fans have been stewing in the sweet juices of curiosity for three whole months. You best believe the next chapter will crash the website.
Chapter 332 of Black Clover will be released on August 1, 2022, after a long winding hiatus. As reported earlier, the manga will now begin its final saga.
In chapter 331, it was revealed that Julius hosted Lucius Zogratis, the fourth Zogratis sibling. It looks like Julius wasn’t even aware of this, and his body was taken over the moment he realized the truth.
Some really wild speculation has been going around, but I don’t think Julius ever plotted against the kingdom. Additionally, there are high chances that Astaroth or the Time Devil is Lucius.
The last chapter really boggled our minds, but I’m sure it’s nothing Tabata can’t overturn soon. In chapter 332, Lucius might vocalize his plan of bringing the world under his control. (Or something similar that all super villains want.)
Tabata took the hiatus to recover his health while preparing the manuscripts for the last arc. I hope he won’t risk his health any further, and the fandom is quite understanding of the risks that mangakas are exposed to.
Now, a vast new saga lies ahead where Yuno and Asta have to face the biggest threat of their lives.
About Black Clover
Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015.
The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in; and his foster brother Yuno who received the rare four-leaf grimoire and has more magic power than most people! With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
