Episode 162 ended with Asta’s Anti Magic clashing with Dante’s Gravity Magic, and Asta managing to land a scar on Dante’s face, which made him burst into anger.

The Black Bulls squad was surely doing better than how Yuno’s squad dealt with Zenon. However, I don’t think they can hold Dante much longer, and all our hopes reside on Yami Sukehiro, who is out on a meeting.

1. Episode 163 Speculation        

Episode 163 will take us to the fight between Dante and Yami Sukehiro. In the preview, we get to see Gauche in a bad shape and probably won’t survive due to his grave injuries.

Asta and others will keep Date occupied till Yami arrives to save his squad. With no surprise, our favorite Magic Knight Captain will completely turn the tides of the battle.

In his battle against Zagred, we saw how he compressed his mana zone and combined it with his attack to make ‘Mana Zone Dimension Slash Equinox’ that can even cut through dimension. We can see that same technique or a refined version of it once again here.

2. Episode 163 Release Date    

Episode 163 of the Black Clover anime, titled “Dante vs the Captain of the Black Bulls”, has been released on Tuesday, Feb 09, 2021.

Since this anime runs on a weekly schedule, new episode releases are seven days apart.

3. Episode 162 Recap 

Loropechika senses that her kingdom is being attacked by Vanica from the Dark Triad, possessed by the devil Megicula. Meanwhile, the Black Bulls headquarters is under attack by Dante.

He makes the entire headquarters float in the air and decides to toy with the Magic Knights till the arcane stage mage, Yami Sukehiro, arrives. Asta, Gauche, and Vanessa fight bravely but soon realize the huge power gap between them.

With his Gravity magic, Dante can pin down or repel any magic spell directed towards him. His attacks look similar to that of Pain’s from Naruto Shippuden, but he has taken gravity control to a whole new level.

Asta is the only one whose anti-magic was somewhat effective against Dante. He went all out with a coordinated attack with Gauche, but it was of no use.

The fact that there is someone possessed by a devil in the Clover Kingdom shocks him. He consults Lucifero regarding this, who assures that this is a low-class devil who poses no threat to them.

He tells Asta that they are the same since both of them are possessed by devils and driven by hatred. His speech on evil being the true form of humanity proves that he has sunk deep down in the darkness of hatred.

Surprisingly, Dante gets impressed with Vanessa’s might and claims her to be the woman who deserves him. He even asks her to marry him and be his queen.It’s surely not the most appropriate thing to ask amidst a fight, but at least he kept her alive because of it.

Things get intensified when he lands a killing blow on Gauche with a speeding rock launched towards him. Seeing his teammate on the verge of death, Asta loses control completely and manages to land a scar on Dante’s face.
