Episode 161 showed us the one-sided battle between Zenon and the Golden Dawn squad. The power gap was so much that none of the Magic Knights stood a chance against him.

William Vangeance once again proved why he is the captain of the squad. Despite being injured from Zenon’s attacks, he collects enough mana to save the lives of the injured squad members.

We have already seen Zenon’s attack, and now it’s time to see how Dante and Vanica play their cards. They are after Arcane stage mages, so one of them may go after Lolopechka and the other one to the Black Bulls headquarters searching for Yami Sukehiro.

I. Fighting the Dark Disciples

Yuno arrives to find that half of his comrades are already dead. He then faces the Dark Disciples, who were stage zero magicians directly under the Dark Triad.

Gaderios, one of those mages who can use up to 40% of the devil’s power, attacks Yuno with his stone magic. The devil has boosted his magic to a whole new level, and he can even fight toe-to-toe with a Magic Knight Captain.

However, our Yuno is no trifle. He is the prince of the Spade Kingdom and the one chosen by the Wind Spirit. After an intense battle between the two, Yuno defeats Gaderios with his Wind Creation Magic.

Meanwhile, Klaus and Letoile barely manage to hold their ground against Foyal, the other Dark Disciple member. Fighting him is like fighting an invisible enemy, as he has created a heavy mist that affects everyone’s vision.

Yuno jumps into the fight, thereby exposing his location. Klaus and Letoile make the most out of this distraction and take him down with a coordinated attack.

II. Yuno vs. Zenon

Zenon has defeated Captain Vangeance without breaking a sweat, and then he faces Yuno as his next opponent. Yuno somehow survives his first attack, but Klaus and Letoile get badly injured.

Even with his Spirit of Zephyr, Yuno fails to cut through Zenon’s Bone Magic. Zenon shows him a glimpse of the devil by unleashing 55% of his devil powers.

Later, Ralph arrives at the headquarters and finds the Golden Dawn squad in either dead or half-dead condition. Just when thought there is no hope for Yuno’s survival, Captain Vangeance’s Golden Tree Magic arises from below, saving the lives of Yuno, Klaus, and the rest of the members who were alive.
