Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. The story revolves around Asta and Yuno who were abandoned at the same church on the same day.
Raised together as children, they came to know of the “Wizard King” a title given to the most powerful mage in the kingdom and they promised that they would compete against each other for the position of the next Wizard King.

No, episode 144 of the Black Clover anime will be released as per its schedule; thus, no such delay is announced.
2. Episode 144 Preview & Speculation
In the upcoming episode, titled “Those Who Wish for The Devil’s Demise.” According to the preview, we speculate to see that Damnatio may realize that despite his hate towards the Devil, their country needs help from Asta.
In the last few seconds of the preview, it said that “Someone is trying to disturb the balance we have in place” which suggests that Damnatio may soon find out that Kabwe is behind all of this. Since Yami and Finral have already encountered Dazu, it may not be long before they discover the Devil Banishers hideout.
Will they be able to find out that Kabwe and Dazu is the reason behind the abduction?
3. Recap of Episode 143
Episode 143, titled “The Tilted Scale”, begins with Doctor Owen telling Noelle that Asta isn’t asleep because of any spell cast on him but due to a sleeping potion. Therefore he would be able to wake up later on his own. Then captain Yami comes in with Marx to check Asia’s memories to figure out what had happened. They come to understand that a group called Devil Banishers has abducted Nero and Mari.
Meanwhile, Gauche and Finral were at the place where Mari lives. Gauche was getting angry at Theresa for letting Mari get abducted, then he threatened Neige to tell him what exactly happened. Then Gauche and Finral rush to Damnatio, Gauche threatens Damnatio to tell where he has hidden Mari. He is suspicious about Damnatio because he was the one who took Asta, Nero, and Mari to the court and accused them of working with the Devil before.
Captain Yami along with Noelle and Marx also show up because of the same suspicions. To prove his innocence, Damnatio asks Marx to use his memory magic on him. After proving his innocence, Damnatio wanted to use his Judgment on them for falsely accusing him, but Marx gets a call from Julius who sends Nozel to help them find out where they’ve kept Mari and Nero. Further, Julius also requests Damnatio to halt it till they find Nero and Mari as they’re to be kept a close watch on.
Captain Yami, along with Nozel and others, head out towards Tiulyu town in search of Nero and Mari. After reaching the town, everyone splits into two groups with a picture of Mari, to ask anyone around if they have seen her. At the end of the episode, Yami and Finral see Dazu sitting and praying near the grave of her husband!

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata.
The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in.
