Black Clover, by Yuki Tabata, is one of the top 10 shonen manga and anime series these days. What people initial thought to be your everyday shonen anime with magic started distinguish itself with an interesting plot and lovely characters.
One of the best arcs of Black Clover anime – The Elf Resurrection ended recently, and began the Spade Kingdom arc. It has been speculated that the Spade Kingdom plot will be 10 times better than its predecessors because every single episode until now has been a setup from the grand stage – Spade Kingdom arc.
Black Clover episode 135 came out on recently and we saw Finral Roulcase trying to beat his womanist instincts and become a true man for his fiancé. In the next episode, things are certain to get more excited as Noelle will be training with Yami and Noelle. Let’s talk about page 136 now!
1. Black Clover Episode 136 Release Date
Page (episode) 136, titled “A Black Deep-Sea Story,” of the Black Clover anime will be released on Tuesday, July 27, at 2:25 am PDT.
In the next episode, we will see Noelle trying to get better in her mana control and become worthy of competing with her rivals. It looks like Kahono of the Seabed Temple will also be making an appearance in the next episode!
2. Episode 136 Preview & Predictions
Now, you if have noticed, no matter how fun and exciting the episodes are – they are not canon, right? The manga is way ahead of the anime and it doesn’t look like the anime will be having a time-skip.
Does that mean you will have to bear with fillers even more? Well, yes and no. You see Black Clover is a no-spoiler anime as Yuki Tabata is working directly with the directors on each episode – this means that there is a huge possibility that 6-month time skip won’t happen in the anime. Instead, everything that we are seeing is canon and from that 6-month period.
It seems like the next episode will focus on Noelle Silva and her growth as an individual. In the preview, she says that, “Asta you seem to be getting braver and I am having more and more rivals!” This is certainly referring to Rebecca Scarlet and Mimosa Vermillion, both of whom are in love with Asta.
Noelle decides that she will not fall behind and asks her captain Yami to train her. We see Yami taking Noelle and Finral using the latter’s spatial magic to a cave-like place where Noelle could master her water magic and enormous mana even further.
We also see Kahono and Kiato of the Seabed temple as they will be making a guest appearance in the next episode. Or does that mean Noelle will be training in the Seabed temple?! Either way Black Clover 136 is going to be fascinating!

4. Episode 135 Recap & Discussion
Episode 135, titled “The One Who Has My Heart, My Mind, and Soul,” was released recently and showed yet another mixer, but bigger and better this time!
The episode begins when Asta comes back from his training and is asked by Finral to help him out in his training of becoming a man worthy of Miss Finness. Asta accepts and the mixer begins! Well, to be precise, the ‘mixers begin!’
The first mixer that we see is Finral, Luck and Asta meeting Rebecca Scarlet and her two friends while Noelle and Nero are dressed as waitresses and spying on them.
In case you don’t remember, Noelle is a terrible waitress and is told by the manager that he will fire her if she breaks anything. Similarly, Asta and Luck are the worst guys for a mixer – Asta is clueless while Luck literally asked his date to fight him.
Finral, on the other hand, is struggling to not flirt with Rebecca’s friends. The second mixer is of the Green Mantis gang, YES you heard right, Sekke and his gang are on yet another mixer, bah-hanestly!
Although, Noelle gets irritated and fires a water spell ruining Sekke’s date. The third mixer is arranged by Blue Rose Knights – we see Charlotte along with two of her aides on a dinner date with Yami, Gordgon, and Magna.
Surprisingly enough, among all the boys in these three mixers, Gordon is the only one who understands what a mixer really is. (Oh Gordon! Always the smart one in the room!)
Yami is dense then ever and Charlotte seems to be making no progress whatsoever. Back to the ground floor, Finral’s brother Langris and Miss Finess are also present as they are here to see Finral’s actions.
After a lot of drama and fun moments, Charlotte accidentally touches Yami’s hands and jumps out of the window in excitement, ends up on the ground floow, slips and is than saved by Finral who swoops in!
Miss Finess and Langris then leave and the former exclaims that Finral indeed is a ladies-man but because of his good-natured heart and not the ill-will.
The episode finale shows everyone on the same table – Yami and Charlotte finally strike a meaningful conversation, and raise their glasses and vow to prepare earnestly for the upcoming battle.

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015.
The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
