Black Clover, by Yuki Tabata, is one of the top 10 shonen manga and anime series these days. What people initially thought to be your everyday shonen anime with magic started to distinguish itself with an interesting plot and lovely characters.
One of the best arcs of Black Clover anime – The Elf Resurrection ended recently, and began the Spade Kingdom arc. It has been speculated that the Spade Kingdom plot will be 10 times better than its predecessors because every single episode until now has been a setup from the grand stage – Spade Kingdom arc.
In the current arc, we will get to know more about the four card kingdoms in Back Clover, the existence of devils and Underworld, the remaining one of the Four Great Spirits and much more.

1. Black Clover Episode 134 Release Date
Page (episode) 134, titled “Those Who Have Been Gathered,” of the Black Clover anime will be released on Tuesday, July 14, at 9:30 am PDT.
In the next episode, Black Clover anime will continue the side story of Leopold, Crimson Lion squad and the House of Vermilion. The preview shows they will be welcoming someone.
2. Episode 134 Preview & Predictions
It looks like episode 134 will be another non-manga yet canon episode of the Black Clover anime.
Fun fact about Black Clover, if you didn’t already know, Black Clover is a filler-free anime – while anime does contain scenes that are not in the manga but Tabata is working closely with the production house making sure everything stays canon thus filler-free.
The preview starts with Fuegoleon Vermillion, captain of Crimson Lions, announcing that ‘this day’ is one of the most important days for the House of Vermillion.
Someone is visiting the House of Vermillion and a ‘she’ at that. The zeal and excitement are not limited to Fuegoleon but to Mimosa, Leopold, and others as well.
Seeing that Marie and other foster kids are present in the preview, it might be the ‘Lioness’ Sister Theresa who’s visiting.

4. Episode 133 Recap & Discussion
Chapter 133 was a pretty interesting chapter. It starts with a short recap of the events before hiatus – Mereoleona and Fuegoleon visit the Strong magic region with Black Bull and Crimson Lions.
They found a dungeon under the volcano and wait for Julius and Marx’s orders on what to do while they replenish their mana. Leopold suggests that they go in the dungeon and find whatever’s in there.
The team of Asta, Noelle, Leopold, Randall, Magna and Luck go into the dungeon and find that the path divides into three subsequent caves. They divide into two-man teams and traverse each cave.
While Luck x Magna and Asta x Noelle duo finds nothing and return back, Randall and Leopold hit the jackpot. They find the treasury room protected by the stone golems and giant mana spider and the battle begins.
The spider manages to use its web and stick Randall to a wall leaving Leopold with a choice – whether to run or stay and die. He decides to stay and win! (classic Leopold).
With Randall’s advice, Leopold proves that he’s a true royal through and though. He manages to create a spell array and uses the mana of his surroundings to fire flames from multi-directions.
(Note: The concept of spell array is from later chapters in the manga and will be explained in the upcoming chapters of the anime. To put it simply, it is an intricate spell usage where user utilizes the mana of the surroundings and attacks with a power much greater than his own without depleting his own mana reserves.)
Asta and other join the battle at the last moment and the good guys win! BUT, in the heat of battle, Asta and Leopold got carried away and destroyed the gem they were tasked to secure.
For punishment, they traverse the dungen at the heart of the volcano until dawn to find a treasure and compensate for the lost gem.

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015.
The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
