The Black Clover anime has been garnering steady attention over time, and its last broadcasted episode was quite the cliffhanger. Episode 132 was released on April 28, and episode 133 was delayed due to the spread of COVID-19.

Episode 133 titled, “The Lion Awakens Continues” is likely to be released on July 7.

2. Series Resumes & Other Announcements

The Weekly Shonen Jump posted on its Twitter account on April 23 that the anime will be going on a delay after the broadcast of episode 132.

Episode 132 of Black Clover was released on April 28 and has been on a delay ever since.

Recently, Twitter user @Spytrue confirmed that the anime will resume broadcasting starting July 7.

The state of emergency has been lifted from most of the Japanese prefectures, and thus manga and anime schedules are ready to get back on track.

The next episode picks up from the last “The Lion Awakens” episode. Asta, Noelle and Leopold will be able to defeat the giant spider which emerged from the underground cave. However, the spider had the mana of a curse that could be man-made.
