Black Clover Episode 131 – Release Date, Where to Watch, Updates, Spoilers & Speculation

Due to the ill-pacing of the anime, it had come too close to the latest chapter of the manga. Hence we saw a month’s worth of filler episodes.

However, it looks like the anime is ready to step into the next arc. Both episodes 126 and 127 dealt with the information about devils & their curses. BUT, just like episode 130, 131 will go back to fillers yet again!

1. Episode 131 Title & Release Date

Black Clover, page(episode) 131, will be titled “A New Resolve” and will be releasing on Tuesday, April 21st, 2020. The next episode will be a filler episode before the six-month time-skip where Asta and Yuno will head back to Hage.

2. Episode 130 Preview & Speculation

The preview for the Black Clover reveals that Asta and Yuno will be going back to the Hage village to spend some time in their hometown.

It looks like Noelle, Sylph, and Nero will be accompanying them as well. Since there was no such scene in the manga, it is safe to say that the next episode will be a semi-filler episode.

No, page(episode) 131 of the Black Clover anime will be released as per its schedule; so far, no such delay is announced.

5. Episode 130, “The New Magic Knights Squad Captains’ Meeting” Plot

Episode 130 starts with all the Magic Knight captains attending a public meeting where the masses of Clover Kingdom have come to see them.

A lot of things were revealed by that scene. In essence, peace has been somewhat restored in the Clover Kingdom; Fuegoleon Vermillion has regained the captaincy of Crimson Lions (no such revelation in the manga) & Julius Novachrono will be hiding his true form for a while.

William starts the meeting and is followed by the king — Augustus Kira Clover, who is not paid attention by anybody. He is interrupted by Jack and Yami as they land on the stage while still fighting over who’s stronger.

The scene then changes to the new captains’ meeting taken by Julius Novachrono himself. All the captains are present along with the group that went to the Heart Kingdom (Asta, Noelle, Mimosa & Finral), and Damnatio Kira.

Marx reveals the information gathered by the Heart Kingdom group. Upon Julius’ advice, it has been decided that all the Magic Knights are to train for the next six months.

Julius then cuts the salary of all captains by half to aid the capital, he also forgives and appoints Gueldre Poizot — former captain of Purple Orca, to help the Kingdom’s finances.

The salary being cut seems to be a nuisance to Yami and Jack but are outvoted as the remaining captains have no qualms with it.

Next, we see all the captains in a bar with Yami and Jack being very drunk. They challenge William for a gambling game but probably sleep in the middle of the game.

The episode ends with William Vangeance expressing his gratitude to his fellow captains and announcing that he will devote his life for the good of Clover Kingdom.

The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
