Chapter 291 ends with Asta and Liebe finally defeating the devil and the Black Bulls squad entering the scene with Magma and Zora at the front.

However, the tricky part of this arc is just about to begin. The gate of the underworld is still open and hoards of devils are entering the Card kingdoms. Unfortunately, all the strongest warriors of the card kingdom, Asta, William, Julius, Yami, Nacht, Lolopechka, to name a few have either been captured or out of commission.

Does this mean that there’s nothing between Dark Triad and their ultimate goal of turning this world into an underworld? I highly doubt it, especially if Asta x Liebe’s Devil Union has issues with stamina, they can likely solve it with Mimosa’s help.

The chapter starts with Asta using his Demon Destroyer sword to knock the big ball of magic and save the Spade Kingdom residents. He then pulls out his Demon Dweller sword and attacks the devil with air-slashes of anti-magic.

The devil begins to feel an “unknown feeling” that it has never felt before because of being born powerful. Liebe describes this feeling as “fear.” The fight continues and the chapter ends with Asta x Liebe slicing the devil in half.
