Raw scans of Black Clover chapter 280 are out and a shocking development has taken place. If you thought that the Dark Triad is powerful now, you have no idea how much more powerful they can get!
Now that the first gate of Qliphoth is open, there is no telling what kind of horrors await our heroes. The threat is not just limited to the Dark Triad; numerous devils are also pouring into the magic knights’ world.
Chapter 280’s raw scans have made our darkest forebodings come true.
Our heroes are getting overwhelmed to the point where they see no hope of returning alive, much less saving the world. Let’s focus on some of the major developments that have taken place in the latest chapter.
1. First Level of Qliphoth Opened
Two identical devils had already entered through the gate. The raw scans reveal that their names are Nahemah and Lilith. Multiple devils are pouring into this world, and not enough people are there to take care of them.
At a stage where the Dark Triad is a heavy enemy to deal with, actual devils are obviously too strong to fight. Lilith pins Jack to the wall as he is frozen due to the devil’s power.
2. Dark Triad Reveals 100% Power & New Forms
Dante had previously released 80% of his power, while Vanica was limited at 75%.
However, they could not reach their full potential because their devils were in a different dimension. They wanted to unlock the gate to the underworld partly so that they could reach 100%.
Now that Qliphoth is finally opened, the Dark Triad’s connections with their respective devils have been re-established, and they have reached 100% power.
With this newly achieved power comes new forms. The Dark Triad look more powerful and crazier than ever in their new transformations.
Jack was overpowering Dante in the previous chapter, but the tables have turned, and he beats Jack to a pulp. Vanica is also powerful enough to hold back Charlotte. Zenon, on the other hand, fights Yuno.
Nacht realizes the precariousness of the situation as his devil, Plumede, is trembling with fear. His devils are thus of a lower ranking than the twin devils who have just made their entrance.
He asks Plumede to die with him. Nacht has already made up his mind that if worse comes to worst, he will die fighting.
Will Asta’s anti-magic really help against such powerful devils? He may have trained with Nacht, but even the vice-captain is stunned at the moment.
It will need a miracle or an incredible amount of power to stop Lilith, Nahemah, the Dark Triad, and all the other devils.
