Black Clover Chapter 265: Release Date, Delay, Read Online

Black Clover, by Yuki Tabata, is one of the hottest mangas these days, so much so that Black Clover is believed to be the part of New Big Three along with My Hero Academia and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.

The manga took some time off from its battle-mode chapters and gave us a lot of information in chapter 263. Now that we know it will take seven days for the Tree of Qlipoth to fully open, and our mages have a week to save Yami and William.

Although this was not the best part of the chapter, in chapter 263, Nacht also claims that he will make Asta the ultimate warrior because anti-magic can make that possible. These words coming from a man of his stature have so much gravity than any other speculation.

Chapter 265 Raw Scans & Leaks

Raw scans for chapter 265 of the Black Clover manga came out just recently and the rough translation goes like this:

We see the aftermath of the Heart Kingdom’s devastation and Nero’s flashback. Most of the people from Heart Kingdom are okay but Gaja’s whereabouts seem to be unknown. Noelle also seems to be in shock with hints towards the possibility of some casualties.

Patry shows them the son and daughter of Licht and Tetia, apparently, thanks to Secre’s quick thinking at that time helped Tetia survives with her children intact.

Patry explains Noelle that they have a way to get even stronger than their current situation using elf-secret magic: Extreme Magic.

That’s all the first set of scans leaked however – more of these will be coming within a few hours. In the meantime, I have a lot of speculations and predictions about how chapter 265 would go. Let’s begin!

Chapter 265 Predictions

Chapter 264 ended with Nacht unofficially declaring war preparations against the Spade Kingdom. In the next chapter, we will finally get to see Clover Kingdom’s plan of action on the subject of Yami and William’s rescue.

One of the most interesting and enjoyable chapters, apart from the ones with goosebump-level fights, are the ones with major preparations, training, and team formations!!! We will get to see who all will participate in the Spade war and their potential positions.

I. Noelle & Heart Kingdom

The entirety of Black Clover fandom definitely wants to see what will happen in the Heart Kingdom. Will the most prosperous and secluded kingdom be destroyed, and that too by the hands of a devil host?

Well, that does seem pretty unlikely in a Tabata-universe. This means there might be a way for Noelle, Luck, Mimosa, Gaja, and the other mages in the Heart Kingdom to stop Vanica’s magic, ‘The Exploding Life,’ from blowing up.

Even though it’s pretty obvious, how they are going to pull it off will definitely be worth reading.

II. Asta’s Training with Nacht!

Asta can nullify the magic around him. This power can be used in the clash against the Dark Triad and their army. If used and manifested correctly, this power can give the magic knights a considerable boost.

The gate of the Underworld will open in three days from the current chapter’s events. Nacht plans to make an elite team with Asta as its core member and then strike the Spade Kingdom.

Asta had previously taught himself to fly. Thus, with an instructor this time, the heights he can reach is immeasurable. Even though time is short, Asta might be able to achieve the Stage Zero of Mages.

III. Expected Battle Plan…

The Magic knights will most probably form an infiltration group and a group to bear the brunt of head-on attacks. The ones who will most likely infiltrate the Dark Triad’s treading place are Asta, Yuno Nacht, Noelle and Mimosa. Nacht has already been a spy in the Spade kingdom and thus he knows his way around.

If they want to attempt a stealth attack, a small yet powerful group is the best. Asta’s Anti-Magic power is, of course, a strongpoint. Yuno with his wind, spirit and creation magic will be an obvious addition to the team.

Noelle might temporarily inherit Undine. All the captains, vice-captains, members of the Black Bulls, Mereleona, and the Crimson Lion squad are all possible allies in this situation. The allies will be in the attack or defense group.

IV. Boss Battle

The expected matchups in the final battle is likely to be:

Noelle and Lolopechka against Vanica. We all know about the grudge that Noelle holds against Vanica. Lolopechka may get rescued and they both might team up again to fight her.

Yami, Asta, and Nacht against Lucifero. Dante has already been defeated and he holds little power without Lucifero now. Thus the main powerful villain is now Lucifero.

Yuno and William against Zenon. Yuno and William have been previously defeated by Zenon. It is thus clear that this matchup is inevitable.

Chapter 265 of the Black Clover manga has been released on Friday, Sep 18, 2020 at 9:30 am PDT. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.

The chapter starts with Yuno talking about Zenon or someone talking to Yuno about him (probably Nacht), the panel also shows the Wind Spirit Sylph traumatized by the massacre of Golden Dawn. Yuno raises his concern that even William was defeated hence attacking the enemy with a handful of soldiers will just result in Clover Kingdom’s loss. However, he’s prepared to do anything to save his captain and avenge the fallen comrades.

They talk about war but Nacht reveals that he cannot transport too many people with his magic so only an elite team of select few people can go.

The chapter ends with Patry, Rhya, Fana and Vetto saving Mimosa and the others at the Heart Kingdom!
