The last page of Black Clover chapter 264 reveals Patry, Rhya, Vetto, and Fana peering down on Noelle.
It seems like the elves were the ones who saved her from the explosion in the Heart kingdom.
Patry, Rhya, Vetto, and Fana are amongst the seven apostles of the elves. They are some of the strongest elves alive and their return suggests that something big is about to happen.
For now, we have only been shown Noelle, but we can hope that Secre and the others are safe as well. With the exception of Lolopechka, of course, who has been captured by Vanica.
How will the elves affect the upcoming war?
As we already know, Patry and his team consist of the most powerful elves; their support could be a huge turning point in the battle. Their strength is on par with some of the most powerful mages.
The true elven way of life is peaceful, and it doesn’t approve of violence. However, the fact that the elves have decided to interfere means that they are ready to join a side. We can all guess that they will be joining Asta’s side.
Their extensive knowledge of the Tree of Qliphoth will also be helpful when the gate to the underworld is about to open.
The Seven apostles can open the gate to the underworld when they use their powers together.
However, three of the apostles have passed away and the only way to control the Tree of Qliphoth again will be if the elves reincarnate in the bodies of Yuno, Gauche, and Langris.
