Black Clover manga is currently in the Spade Kingdom arc, and it looks like Tabata’s cards for a big showdown are set, and all his pawns are where he wants them to be.
In the previous chapter, Black Clover 262, we saw more of the Black Bull vice-captain and his pet devil Guimero. It came out as a marvellous surprise that the Bull vice-captain is a fellow devil host like Asta.
Yuki Tabata surely knows how to rile fans up! While the previous chapters, with Yami x Asta vs. Dante, were on par with anything you can ever see, they ended with Yami getting captured. However, Tabata didn’t let the hype die and immediately introduced Nacht.
Now that Nacht has offered Asta a crash course on ‘How to use devil powers 101,’ what do you think will happen in chapter 263?
I have some speculations and expected plots, including the raw scans and spoilers for the next one (chapter 263) that you guys would definitely want to know!
1. Chapter 263 Raw Scans, Leaks & Spoilers
Raw scans for Chapter 263 of the Black Clover manga have been leaked partially and the rough translation goes like this:
The next chapter will contain a full spread of the Black Bull members and some others in a rather funky outfit.
Nacht and Asta enter the conference which makes everyone a little suspicious until Julius reveals that he’s the vice-captain of the Bulls. However, even Julius wasn’t aware of Nacht’s devil possession. Jack also recognizes Nacht and asks him a question to which he replies, “He’s gone now.”
Nacht’s devil has 4 bodies which he uses to make all the captains sit and exclaims that Asta’s antimagic will possibly make him the strongest of all.
He further explains the concept of the Tree – in 7 days the Qliphoth Tree with 7 gates/levels will open. Once it is open, Yami and William will die. They then discuss mobilizing their forces to attack the Spade Kingdom as soon as possible.
2. Chapter 263 Speculations/ Predictions
Chapter 262 ended with Nacht entering the captain’s meeting at the Royal Capital along with Asta. In the next episode, we will finally get to see Clover Kingdom’s plan of action on the subject of Yami and William’s rescue.
However, knowing Tabata, it is unlikely that we will get everything in one go. If you think you will get a meeting with all the captains including Yuno, a baby Julius, Asta and the vice-captain of the Bulls; you really don’t know Yuki Tabata well enough.
Since the captain’s conference is the most likely outcome, I will begin with it and then move on to the other likely events.
I. The Captains’ Conference
Now that the Spade has both Yami and William, they can move forward with their plan to fill the human world with devils – which means the moment of truth has come for the Clover & Heart Kingdoms.
Six months have passed, and everyone has trained as hard as they could – some Bulls saw the devil power first hand but emerged victorious nonetheless.
We are yet to see the powerhouses’ true power – Nozel Silva, Fuegoleon, and Mereoleona Vermillion. The time has come for the two kingdoms to combine their Stage 0, Stage 1, and arcane stage mages to collaborate and launch the Spade kingdom attack.
With enough luck and the gods of heaven on our side, we just might see Julius Novachrono into action soon!!!

II. Nacht & Asta
We will soon see Nacht teaching Asta how to deal with the anti-magic devil. Now that Nacht has been officially ousted as a devil-host and the first devil-host to have his devil out in the human world like this, we know he is going to be an overpowered character.
Having someone well versed with Devil magic teach Asta will likely be one of the best moments of the Black Clover manga.
It’s hard to speculate how Nacht is able to make Guimero physically appear in the human world but if you look at them carefully, Nacht does have a Weg on his forehead like the rest of the Forbidden magic users.
The most likely outcome is that Nacht has summoned the creature from the underworld since he has a Weg similar to Secre and not the devil hosts.
III. The Tree of Qlipoth
In chapter 246 of the Black Clover manga, Dante tells Yami that he has been filled with anger and malice since he was a child. And has but one wish to bring all the devils from the Underworld to the human world.
“To connect this world to the other, you need to create a path of magic, known as the Tree of Qliphoth.”
And to create the tree, you need the two arcane magics that can affect the otherworldly magic — Dark & World Tree magic, both acquired by Yami & William, respectively.
Yami Sukehiro uses Dark Magic, and as the name suggests Dark magic uses the darkness, and possesses all the properties of darkness — lack of speed, devouring of magic and others.
William Vangeance, the captain of the Golden Dawn, uses World Tree magic.
His magic is currently shrouded in mystery. However, if you look at William’s feats, he can cover a whole town and subjugate two Shining Generals through his magic.
IV. Noelle & Heart Kingdom
The entirety of Black Clover fandom definitely wants to see what will happen in the Heart Kingdom. Will the most prosperous and secluded kingdom be destroyed, and that too by the hands of a devil host?
Well, that does seem pretty unlikely in a Tabata-universe. This means there might be a way for Noelle, Luck, Mimosa, Gaja, and the other mages in the Heart Kingdom to stop Vanica’s magic, ‘The Exploding Life,’ from blowing up.
Even though it’s pretty obvious, how they are going to pull it off will definitely be worth reading.

Chapter 263 of the Black Clover manga has been released on Sunday, Sep 06, 2020 at 9:30 am PDT. The chapter title has not been leaked yet.
In the next chapter, we will see Nacht and Asta attending the captain’s meeting back at the Clover capital and their decision on how to rescue Yami and William.
5. Is Black Clover on a Break This Week?
Black Clover manga is published under Shonen Jump magazine, a weekly magazine that comes out every Sunday.
Black Clover manga is not on a break and will be released on time. Therefore, chapter 263 will be released on September 6, 2020.
6. Chapter 262 Recap
The chapters start with Nacht and Asta, the latter deals with the fact that Nacht is the vice-captain of the Bulls squad. The creature on Nacht’s back is revealed to be Nacht’s devil, Guimero.
The scene then shifts to the captain’s meeting as everyone becomes aware of Yami and William’s abduction and oh boy! For the first time since I started Black Clover, I saw Julius Novachrono tensed! Fuegoleon is angry, while Yuno is straight-up depressed.
The chapter ends as Nacht enters the meeting and asks everyone to stay quiet and hold the meeting properly.
7. About Black Clover
Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015.
The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
