Black Clover manga is currently in the Spade Kingdom arc, and it looks like Tabata’s cards for a big showdown are set, and all his pawns are where he wants them to be.
In the previous chapter, Black Clover 260, we saw Zenon foiling the Dante-defeat-afterparty back at the Black Bulls hideout as he appears out of nowhere and kidnaps Yami.
Now that the Dark Triad Yami and William, and they have defeated Lolopechka at the same time, it will be hard for the good guys to stop their evil plan from happening. What do you think will happen in chapter 261?
I have some speculations and expected plots, including the raw scans and spoilers for the next one (chapter 261) that you guys would definitely want to know!
1. Chapter 261 Raw Scans, Leaks
Raw scans for Chapter 261 of the Black Clover manga have been leaked. It begins with Asta being heald by the Grand Healer of the Clover Kingdom and it seems like his right arm has succumbed to the devil for good.
Asta wakes up sometime later, and wait for it…., HE STILL HAS YAMI’s KATANA which now resides in his grimoire. He then dashes to save Captain Yami but is stopped by a mysterious magic.
They mage is revealed to be the same Shadow magic-user introduced a few chapters back who’s able to restrain Asta with ease.
The person is probably the vice-captain of Black Bulls and guess what, she’s also a devil-host like Asta and the Dark Triad.
2. Chapter 261 Speculations/Predictions
The ending of chapter 261 left us in disbelief as Asta and the rest of the squad watches as Zenon takes away Yami and William.
Now, there are a few events that would most definitely happen in chapter 261. Let’s begin the discussion then starting from the event with the maximum possibility.
I. The Tree of Qlipoth
In chapter 246 of the Black Clover manga, Dante tells Yami that he has been filled with anger and malice since he was a child. And has but one wish to bring all the devils from the Underworld to the human world.
“To connect this world to the other, you need to create a path of magic, known as the Tree of Qliphoth.”
And to create the tree, you need the two arcane magic that can affect the otherworldly magic — Dark & World Tree magic, both acquired by Yami & William, respectively.
Yami Sukehiro uses Dark Magic, as the name suggests Dark magic uses the darkness, and posses all the properties of darkness — lack of speed, devouring of magic, etc.
William Vangeance, the captain of the Golden Dawn, uses World Tree magic.
His magic is currently shrouded in mystery. However, if you look at William’s feats, he can cover a whole town and subjugate two Shining Generals through his magic.
II. Noelle & Heart Kingdom
The entirety of Black Clover fandom definitely wants to see what will happen in the Heart Kingdom. Will the most prosperous and secluded kingdom be destroyed, and that too by the hands of a devil host?
Well, that does seem pretty unlikely in a Tabata-universe. This means there might be a way for Noelle, Luck, Mimosa, Gaja, and the other mages in the Heart Kingdom to stop Vanica’s magic, ‘The Exploding Life,’ from blowing up.
Even though it’s pretty obvious, how they are going to pull it off will definitely be worth reading.
III. Battle against the Spade
Now that the Spade has both Yami and William, they can move forward with their plan to fill the human world with devils – which means the moment of truth has come for the Clover & Heart Kingdoms.
The six months have passed, and everyone has trained as hard as they could – some Bulls saw the devil power first hand but emerged victorious nonetheless.
We are yet to see the powerhouses’ true power – Nozel Silva, Fuegoleon, and Mereoleona Vermillion. The time has come for the two kingdoms to combine their Stage 0, Stage 1, and arcane stage mages to collaborate and launch the Spade kingdom attack.
With enough luck and the gods of heaven on our side, we just might see Julius Novachrono into action soon!!!
IV. Vice-Captain of Black Bulls
At the beginning of Black Clover manga, Yami and the others told Asta that more Black Bulls members are either on missions or elsewhere.
That ‘secret silhouette ‘has been speculated to be none other than the Black Bulls’ magic knight squad’s vice-captain.
This theory has only gotten more realistic since the appearance of a mysterious Black Bulls spy with Shadow magic in the Spade Kingdom.
If that ain’t the vice-captain of Kuro no Bogyu, I don’t know what’s true anymore!

6. Chapter 260 Recap
Black Clover chapter 260, titled “Dark Out,” starts with a panel of Dante lying on the ground and defeated. Everyone in the Black Bulls starts to rejoice as the battle has finally ended at long-last.
Asta is unable to stand on his feet but is caught by Yami before he fells; Grey forgets about her social embarrassment and hugs Gauche expressing her gratitude and happiness on his survival.
It was indeed heartwarming to see Grey like this. In the next panel, Yami exclaims that while the battle has ended, Dante is still alive. Just when he is about to restrain Dante, Zenon appears out of nowhere.
Zenon uses the element of surprise to impale Yami quickly and retrieve Dante back. He then attempts to get rid of Asta but is stopped by Finral’s spatial magic.
Zenon then uses his devil’s spatial magic to transport back to the Spade Kingdom.
7. About Black Clover
Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015.
The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in. With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
